In fact, check out this super cute idea & photo I received from reader Lori –

Hi! First I have to say thank you. If it wasn’t for you, this would not be possible. Today I combined two of your recent deals to create some nice presents for some special ladies in my children’s lives (two nanas and our very awesome nanny!). I made these cute cosmetic bags at Artscow 3/$9.99 and today I picked up these Avalon Organic lotions and hand gels at Whole Foods. Some on sale for 2/$9 and some on sale for 2/$8. After using those $4 coupons I only spent $1.59 total! So for each bag + lotion, hand gel combo = $3.86! Not bad at all for a nice gift 🙂 [/h2s_box]

(Thanks for the idea, Lori!)

So cute and creative!! I’ve been wanting to order these but have been stumped on what to do with them! Any ladies have any other awesome ideas?

I gave them as gifts stuffed with travel items. I also use mine when traveling for shampoo, etc and one for makeup. My daughter has some for school supplies and for our last road trip I loaded one with books, one with coloring stuff (with a little one filled with crayons). It worked great!

I use mine to hold my notebooks in for school. That way they don’t get all bent all crazy in my back pack. And then i get to show off my adorable kids 🙂

What a rockin’ idea!! Makes my creative wheels aturnin’! 😉

I use one to hold coupons I want to keep handy and always have with me (if I don’t want to take ALL of them). Also, the big ones are good for keeping together toys that have lots of little pieces that go with them, like Polly Pockets, etc.

That’s a great idea, especially since you can snap a picture of the toys to put on the outside! I’ve been using mesh lingerie bags and/or those re-usable plastic containers from Glad/Ziploc but I think your idea is better!

Renee, which size do you use for coupons, and does it stay in your purse. I want to get the right size?

I gave them to all my nieces last christmas. I bought 1 large and 1 small bag per girl. Then I bought make up, fingernail polish, manicure tools, etc. throughout the year. For christmas I made huge baskets with all the stuff. 🙂

When my daughter was starting at a new school, I made bags for her school supplies with pictures of her family and friends on them. She could look at the bags whenever she wanted and she said it made her feel more at ease. She also liked that they were bags so it didn’t look like she needed to bring pictures because she was nervous. 😉

I made one for my son to put all of his favorite on the go art supplies in. I uploaded scanned pictures of drawings he has done so he could always have inspiration to make more art.

Last year I gave these to my 12-year old daughters for Christmas. I customized them with their name and pictures of all their pets. I also made some for their close friends, each with the recipient’s name on it and different sayings like “BFF”, which they gave to their friends as Christmas presents. My daughters and all their friends use them as pencil cases. They’ve been very durable. This is such an inexpensive gift and everyone loves it! Highly recommend!

I just made three large ones for my Mom, Sister and Niece. My Niece just graduated high school so I use graduation and prom pics for hers and my sisters and for my Mom I made a really cute vintage one with her baby pictures. I can’t wait to get them. I had to use paypal to pay too since my bank credit/debit card could not be verified..info on the site says banks may not authorize Hong Kong or overseas charges.

I got some of them that I use to store my sewing supplies. I hand sew a lot, so this way I can have everything for my current project in one place.

I also got a couple of the xxxl bags to give to my cousin for her to use for her twins. I made one for each of the twins with their photo and a cute design on each. She’s going to Disney at the end of the year and she can use them to put a change of clothes in each bag & other little necessities for each child. And since they each have the child’s photo it’ll make it easy for her to just grab the bag that she needs when she needs it. Which will be very helpful if she’s in a state of craziness trying to handle the babies:)

I made one for my sister and sister in law. They are both getting married 3 weeks apart and I customized them as “Wedding Day Emergency Kits” which I will fill with things they might need on their big day.

Thanks for all of the great ideas!
