Wow! As I mentioned the other day, Dollar General is offering up a *HOT* 3-Day sale that runs through 11/23 – you can check out all of the deals here. Well, the buy 1 get 2 FREE Hot Wheels deal is even sweeter than what they have advertised. You see, a few readers have emailed that these Hot Wheels are ringing up for even less at checkout. I even had my friend go test at her local store in Florida where they also rang up even lower than the advertised price! I am not sure how long this sale will last, so I would recommend heading over there soon.

Minus the buy 1 get 2 FREE sale = $0.41 (+ tax) for 3
Final cost just $0.14 each!
* Keep in mind that the receipt shows various discounts on it and is quite confusing. However, after looking at it for a bit, it basically means you are paying $0.41 (+ tax) for every 3 you purchase!
Note that another reader bought 9 cars and also received the same discounts! Wow!

Ringing up 41 cents each in Pittsburgh too, so 1.32 total for three. So it’s more that they’re ringing up three for the price of what they normally charge for one (1.25)
That’s what I got here in NC as well, seems that when you buy three they give you each one at a 1/3 of the price as the original price. Still a great deal!
Worked for me at the store last night, but when I went back today, it has stopped working so I’m guessing they fixed it in the computer system.
I’ve read about this deal last night on here and thought it is a blessing to my Christmas charity which normally I wait for Walmart blackFriday where they have 9hotwheels in a package for $5.00 and I buy 6-10 packages and divide the hotwheels one in each goodie bag we put together for the kids at Texas children’s hospital cancer center in Houston along with other little toys and candy every Christmas. So this Dollar General was an awesome deal and I thought I will go out and buy bunch but after going to two stores and they were already wiped out of the Hotwheels I got to the third store and they had plenty but 3 for $1.23 (.41cent each) still a good deal and I don’t have to hassle black Friday to get some. Also I’ve stocked up on candy from all the savings I got from your site.

go to walmart they have the deal for 60 cents each
I have a sister that is a manager of a dollar general. And this tells me those managers are not doin their job. When markdowns are made that low they are suppose to pull them off the shelves. And they are donated to non profit organizations for needy children. And when they are sold it goes against the manager of that store. I just wanted to share that. And congrats to those that got a 50cent cut on a hotwheel car. cause they are only 94 cents at walmart here.And taking the ad there would make them about the same price.
