TRU has it with a Luigi bundle for 149. I purchased at 10:30pm cst and recd a free 19.99 game of choice with it, which isn’t appearing anymore, but the 3ds bundle is still there. But now I’m second guessing myself…maybe I should have gotten the xl at target.
And TRU has free shipping, where I’d have to pay shipping on the XL at Target (seems crazy that there’s no free ship)

I have a question about the electronics trade in gift card I received for turning in my iPad…how do I enter it on the target website?? I would love to use it on a iPad mini but no combination of numbers will work!!! Thanks for any input!
I just tried this too as it appears it was only valid until 11/22. It says that the funds never expire but that you have to call for another card after this date!!!! I am sooooo annoyed at this.

Nope!! I’ve registered the card, created a pin and tried to download the web page that instructs you on how to redeem online (it says I don’t have access to that page). Not happy!!
It’s a MasterCard so you must put it in as credit card payment. It will than work.
Is the ipad much better than any other tablet or something like the kindle fire?
For our family, we like the ipad better because we’ve all got iPhones and iPods- that way all of our apps and music (BIG on music in my house!) are available on every electronic device. I’ve used kindle fire, too, and to me it works just as well. If you’re not primarily an “Apple” household, or a techno-buff, I’d think you’d be just as happy with a kindle fire. Just keep in mind that different tablets have different options. Not all have cameras, etc!

I research my electronic purchases through cnet.com. If I am on the fence on the purchase, I can usually decide after reading their reviews. Their editors rank the iPad mini better than the iPad air. Hope this helps.

Mine did show up on my receipt. I ordered the iPad air. Did you get an option to have gift card via email, text, or mailed to you?
At checkout it did show the $75 gift card and had me enter what option I wanted my card delivered to, I chose via email. I didn’t print the screen since my printer is broke, I guess I should have copied the screen, but didn’t since I saw an email from target confirming my order. I guess I should have look more closely. It is not listed on the email.

When I got to the final checkout screen when buying the iPad Air I noticed that it only showed the iPad and not the gift card, which had shown on the previous screen. I backed out and did the transaction again and the second time both items showed in my cart upon final checkout. I’m guessing maybe that’s what happened to you as well and you didn’t notice it.

Macmall.com has the air for $459 with no tax , you can go through some rebate sites to get additional five percent off . It makes this only $30 more than target’s deal.
If anyone notices that the target online ipad deal ends up going live again today or tomorrow please post a comment. I am so bummed I missed it even though I started trying at 4AM when I saw collin’s post. I did the target ipad trade-in a month or so ago and trying to use the $200 electronic gift card was so difficult and frustrating to try to do online, finally after figuring out how to properly enter the card number as a MasterCard it went through but then I could not use it online for a new ipad because for an online transaction target will only accept one credit card…not the electronic trade on card combined with the target red card. So frustrating! It was finally recommended to me to use the target electronic trade in card to buy a target e-gift card for $200 which I could use much more easily…but then by the time I did that I had to wait a few hours for the card to arrive in my email inbox! Such a bummer! Did anyone else run into these troubles trying to use the electronic trade in card?
I can’t believe the new problem i have with the ipad electronic trade-in card. Once finally changed it to a regular target e-card/gift card I thought my troubles would be over! I just looked at the e-card which i was planning to print off the numbers and bring to use in a target store and it says the e-gift card numbers are only accepted at a Target store on a web based mobile phone…which i do not have. My husband has one but he is out of town for a few days. Apparently a real plastic gift card is coming in the mail but who knows how long that’ll take???? I can use the code online at checkout, but all the iPads online are out-of-stock. This Black Friday deal for an iPad is going so very poorly for me. It is as if target does not want me to be able to spend the $200 iPad trade in gift card credit! I am tempted to buy $75 in Target gift cards today to get the 20% off shopping code to use during the first week of december, but I am fearing the iPad I want to use the 20% off on will still be out of stock then! Oh bother. Such a pain!
I went to a target to tell my situation with the ipad trade in $200 electronic gift card that I the made into a target e-gift card thinking it’d be easier to use which I was unable to get access too! A very nice manager ended up trying to solve my odd situation. She ended up loading the e-gift card onto her personal phone. She then bought a $200 gift card and handed it to me. I am sure that was not within policy so I am very thankful she helped me out like that. The next morning (today) I went in to Target as new IPads were being restocked. There was no line all. I bought an ipad air very, very easily for the Black Friday price and free $100 gift card offer and used the $ 200 gift card from turning in my first generation ipad to buy it. Success…finally! 🙂

Yes I saw it too for a second I was surprised that maybe they applied the gift card to the order already..It did apply it but the gift cards are still coming separately but in my case it deducted the $100 in the price and a few minutes later I got my gift card

I ordered the iPad air when this deal went live. My first confirmation email showed $100 gift card and a total of $482.57. My shipment email shows a total of $382.57 and also shows $100 gift card. My card was charged $382.57. I’m so confused.
