I tried this last year with a movie and It did not work. They did not have a code and when I called Amazon they said the code at Disney rewards was all I should get.

yes, it worked. i ordered the treasure island movie. got a code from amazon and then used the actual movie code at disney movie rewards. i have 2 certificates of hollywood movie money for the new muppets movie (worth $8 each). amazon emails you a code first.
going to have to try this later…I did it with the Frozen promo and it was super easy. I am a huge muppets fan so this is perfect for me 🙂

$14.82 for a movie with possible two tickets…but our theater offers $6 tickets on Sunday. So I’d be paying $2.82 for a movie u really don’t need…hmm. if all I wanted was free tickets I think I’ll just go on a Sunday. This is a great deal if you love the muppets and truly want the movie.
But they have movies for 8$, great for a gift closet. So if you do those you’re paying a little more than 2.50 for each ticket and a movie. Awesome deal!!
The second ticket comes from the dmr code inside the package so you’d have to open the package and redeem the rewards code and wouldn’t really make a great gift for someone else’s kids.
Make sure the movie you buy on Amazon has Amazon listed as the seller. I mistakenly just searched “The Muppets” and clicked on 1st one that showed up with Prime shipping. It even showed the offer at the bottom to get a free movie ticket. When the movie arrived in the mail, it was from a different seller (not Amazon) & I never got my free movie code. Bummer!

I’m curious to know what was in the movie that made it so bad? I have an 8 year old who loves the muppets and we were thinking about taking her to see it.
was it language? I am curious too? I took advantage of this deal this week and bought a the Muppets of Oz DVD and got my two free tickets for the movie. Well we watched the DVD that we bought and I was so upset about a LOT of stuff on the movie. One example is they said the word “sexy” at least 50 times in the movie we bought along with a lot of other unacceptable things :o(
