  3. Lisa

Thanks, finally placed an order I’ve been holding out on.

Am I the only one who does not like Gymboree clothing? We’ve had several outfits and I’ve found the newer styles are not as good quality as I remember them being a few years ago. IDK. Just my opinion…I think they are too pricey.

    • tam childers

They are a bit pricey but I only ever shop clearance with my 20% coupon which makes them not too bad.

      • Krissy

I prefer children’s place. Same quality in my opinion and I get outfits for $6! Can’t beat that.

Another place I go to is Walmart they usually have clearance events for super cute outfits (pants+top) for $3! Or Disney hoodies for $5. I stock up when I get those deals 🙂 $75 and my 6 year old is set for school next year and summer.

    • Heather

I’m a total Gymboree addict, unfortunately lol. I think their clothes are better quality than most places. However, the higher up in sizes that you go – the less quality the clothing is. They’re still great though and I always find amazing deals on what I purchase.. cheaper than anywhere else I go, even consignment sometimes. Plus we’re big into having the matching accessories.

      • Kate

Maybe that’s what it is. I used to buy Gymboree for my son when he was smaller but now at 5 I feel like the clothes are less quality. I love their accessories though so I buy hats, belts and other things that I see on sale.

        • Heather

Yep! My daughter is 5 as well and only now am I noticing the decreasing quality.

    • Laura

I’ve noticed the shirts running really wide!! Love their swimwear tho!

    • elise

Since the new CEO took over (I think he was GAP’s old one) things haven’t been as good. I still think their clothing quality, as a whole, is better than Children’s Place, etc. But you definitely have to wait for things to be marked down.

  5. Liz

I cannot afford gymboree..the prices are just too high for my family…i only buy clearance and childrens place has been really aaffordable.

Thank you! Two pair of sunglasses for $3.18 (using 20% off and my $5 certificate from holiday shopping). My girls are getting older and have outgrown all the “Embellishments”, and Gymboree’s quality has plummeted from when we started a decade ago. But sunglasses? I’ll take ’em! 🙂

I am surprised by the comments about Gymboree being pricey! Most of my kids’ clothing is from Gymboree because it is SO CHEAP and cute. You just need to know how to shop the sales. Earlier this week they had $3.99 on new lines PLUS coupon! I rarely pay more than $6 for a piece from Gymboree and usually I snag things for $2-$5 a piece during promos.

    • Kate

I definitely think it’s pricey. BUT…I do not get to shop in store since we don’t have one here. My only option is online and I don’t feel like I get my money’s worth. Maybe I’m the only one but I think $15 for jeans for my son is too much. I always get name brand jeans at the mall for $10 or less.

    • Heather

Me too 🙂 I rarely shop in store too – their prices on sale items are always more expensive. However, this varies from store to store.

      Used the Gymboree code thanks!

  9. Liz

I think their clothes are adorable, but too pricey as well. There’s even an outlet by me, but you can’t use coupons so I rarely leave there with more than a cheap onesie. When we splurge on baby clothes, we head for the clearance clothes at Ralph Lauren!

  10. Barb

they are pricey so i only shop their sales

  11. Ann

Free long sleeved t-shirt w/a rewards cert that was about to expire. Thanks!

I am looking to order a swimsuit, Anyone have a 20% off they will not be using. My email is erky1017@hotmail.com…Thanks

  15. Sara Floyd

If anyone has a code, I would really appreciate it. My daughter has 99% Gymboree. Just wait for the sales. Ex. last week they had a 3.99 sale, and I had a coupon, and I got 26 items for $85 shipped! and they had a 50% off clearance, and I got a bunch of great dresses, coats, etc, and I got close to 90% off on most items. I got a $40 dress for 2.50, and a $70 coat for $8. I have a 14 month old so I haven’t been shopping there that long, but I like their quality, it has held up in the wash! please email me a code at saralips at aol.com
