Thank you so much for posting these!!! Frankly, sometimes I get so tired of all the printing and cutting and storing and sorting and throwing away expired coupons and just plain having to think about coupons. It is overwhelming at times. Plus the guilt of shopping without coupons (knowing that one is paying more than they need to) and the feeling that I shouldn’t stop into a store without planning to take advantage of deals. So, while I still check into Hip2save to check the bargains, lately I have pretty much been on a coupon “fast”. I love your post because all I have to do is note the deals and go shopping.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Aww so glad to hear that! You are most welcome! 🙂

    • Karen

Wow, you took the words right out of my mouth!! I hate that guilt feeling and not shopping if I don’t have a trip planned….just did that today even though I really need some groceries.

      • heather

I always shop with coupons and on a side note, There is a $1/1 crest coupon that came in the paper about two weeks ago. So it makes it free after the ECB.

  4. Morganne McClain Langer

However….IF you want to use coupons…on RedPlum there are $1 off any All product that you can use with the All deal 😉

  5. Marcia Miller

I also had a $4 off $20 vitamin coupon which I was allowed to use in addition to the $2 off vitamin coupon! CVS brand also now has gummy vitamins!!!!

Hello I am new to CVS couponing and was wondering if you could help answer a question. Last week I purchased $20 worth of pepsi/pantene pro V products to get $5 ECB. This week, I noticed there is a similar deal in the weekly ad if you spend $20 worth of pepsi/household products you can get $5 ECB again. My question is, since I already bought pepsi last week, am I eligible to buy it again to reach the $20 limit and get $5 ECB? Or since I already received $5 ECB, is this just 1 limit per household per month as opposed to per week? How do you know if you have reached the limit? Thanks in advance. LOVE your website!

    • mel

Yes, new week new deal. The bottom of your receipt tracks. If you’re not sure, you can compare the offer #’s from last weeks ad to this week’s ad. They’re different, so you can “roll” the $5 ecb you earned last week to the deal this week.

    • Emmi

Absolutely! Think of ECBs as little paper gift cards, except they can’t be used on cigarettes and alcohol and gift cards. Other than that, you can use it on anything in the store!

    • Emmi

I’m sorry. I misread and thought you asked if you could use the ECB you earned last week to pay. I need some coffee. Mel gave you an excellent answer though.

Hi, off subject, but i’m looking for help. i pay for the Sunday paper (subscription) and want to cancel but i have it just for the coupons. i don’t even read the paper. i feel like i’m throwing money away. is there another way to get the coupon inserts? i buy coupons on ebay when i need multiple but it’s not worth it when i only need one coupon. thanks in advance

    • CW

Same here. I bet that’s most of us. My paper sometimes has extra inserts at the office but you still have to buy the whole paper and you are picking it up Mon or Tues vs Sat or Sun

    • hina

Hi, what I usually do because I don’t want to waste money on the newspaper, I go to the newspaper stand on Sunday night or early Monday morning because they are going to throw away their newspaper and I ask them if I can have the coupons only, they say sure. Usually they give it or just pay them like a dollar.it’s garbage for them.

    • Chris

The Dollar Tree sells Sunday papers here in PA for $1. That’s where I buy extra papers if the coupons are good.

      • mel

I stopped my Sunday subscription. IDK if its the same where you live, but now I get a “junk” paper on Saturday afternoon. It has most of the sales ads + the coupon inserts. Used to be RP & PG, but the past month they’ve also included the SS. The house across the street from me is vacant while the owner renovates, and he lets me have his junk paper. Sometimes my husband is able to snag a few extra inserts at his job, if on Monday morning there are still papers laying around.

    • AmyI-Boston

I’m not sure where you are located, but in Boston we can register to be on the mailing list for the “Savings Central” portion of the Boston Globe, which is the part with all the ads and coupons. It is delivered on Saturdays – for Free!

  8. Jacquie

Hi, I have a $1 off $3 toothpaste purchase coupon from the magic coupon machine .. Does anyone know if it can be applied to the $2.99 crest (2ECB) toothpaste deal posted here?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Yes you sure can! 🙂

      • Jacquie

Thanks sooo much Collin!! Wasn’t sure if a penny short was ok!

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh whoops…I completely overlooked that part 😉 …does anyone know if CVS will take a store coupon if it’s a penny short?

  9. Pia

Glade sense and spray kit with refill and batteries which usually sells for $16.99 is on sale at cvs for $5. I got 2 of these for $10 and used $2 coupon which was stuck on one of the kits plus used $2 each manufactures coupon and $1 of any two glade products total savings of $7. Ended up getting 2 kits for $3 that’s $1.50 per kit and that’s a steal!!!!!

    • Kidsallgone

Wait….what? Isn’t that more tha 2 manufacture qpons for just 2 items? I’m lost (as usual lol). Can u explain again? Thanks 🙂

      • mel

I’m confused too! Was the $2 coupon stuck on the product a store coupon? What about the $1 off any 2 Glade? That’s 4 coupons on 2 items, and you can only use 1 manuf coupon per item + stack with an applicable store coupon.

    • ashley

I got two of these today also, i was excited when i went in to get my laundry detergent and saw they were marked down to $5, i used two of the $3 off coupons from yesterdays paper and paid $4 for both.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Wow! That is a crazy deal!!

  10. Rita

Thanks Collin for all the extra effort you put in this post. It is a great help!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You are so welcome! I’m glad they are a help!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks Pinky!

  13. Casey

Be on the look out for the as seen on TV flashlight friends on clearance end caps at rite aide. I scored them for 4.99!

  14. Sandra

I love the no coupon post. Sometimes with 3 kids I can’t get my coupons together and we need something from the store. thanks

  15. Shay

So is CVS doing kinda what walgreens does with you can’t have more coupons than products?
