I got it downloaded free to my IPad, but it has no sound, and customer service has been no help. So, it’s worthless.
I have the same issue. My solution for now is not perfect but works for now. It works when I plug in my headphones. Please let me know if you hear back from customer service.
Found the SOUND problem. It is connected to the ringer !! Go to “Settings”, then “General”, then make sure that MUTE does not have a check Mark next to it. CrAzy. I now have sound. Yeah!!!!
I had an issue with the sound, and discovered that it was connected to my ringer. I always have my ringer off, but when I turned it on, it worked.
There is a switch right above your volume control. It is a pseudo-mute switch. Some programs will still have sound with it still on. Just turn it off( there shouldn’t be any color showing for it to be off).
I would try uninstall and reinstall it, I got it and it works perfectly on my ipad. Hope it gets fixed.
I am so very disappointed. I teach at a small school with low budget and was so excited to receive such a worthwhile appreciation gift! When I finally had a chance to take advantage of the offer (10:15 CDT) it was no longer available. I took the “one day only” literally and thought it would be available until today. Nice thought, but the specific times of availability would’ve been helpful. Maybe I could’ve had someone else do it for me since I couldn’t do it until then.
Sorry for the frustration. Unfortunately, I was not given the exact times or I would have included them in the post. Hopefully, this freebie will become available again soon.

The app is being offered for free again today, 5/7.
Called iTunes and will be receiving a refund for the app not being free yesterday when it was supposed to be.
how did you get in touch with iTunes? I requested a refund as well since it was not free as it clearly stated. I “reported a problem” with the purchase soon after, but heard nothing yet. Any help would be appreciated! This is frustrating!
I reported the problem as well online but I can’t stand waiting for an answer. Here’s the iTunes number:

They did try to pass me back off to go online to billing but I refused (computer broken, and other reasons), so then I was transferred to technical. I explained, they knew of the problem and it was really easy to get the refund.

Thank you so much for offering this wonderful app. It saddens me that my school iPad was not available for the free download. I copied the information and was hoping I could download it when I got to school on 5/7/14. The free promotion had expired….only to find out that when I got home (without my school iPad) it was available for another day. I missed out again.

I’ve contacted iTunes about being charged. Have it on my phone but can’t get it on my kids’ iPods – they refunded AND returned the app – so now dealing with that.
