WOWZERS!! Here’s a smokin’ *HOT* deal for all you Shop Your Way Rewards members (sign up here for a free account if you are not yet a member)…

Sears, online AND in-store, is offering up a whopping 50,000 Shop Your Way Rewards points (= a $50 reward!) when you spend $50+ on participating grilling accessories (sold by Sears.com). Note that this may be for select rewards members… I am not sure at the point?! However, it is working for me both in-store and online.

This is a crazy awesome deal as you are basically scoring $50 worth of FREE grilling accessories (after you factor in the points)… great for Father’s Day! 🙂 The earned points should show up on your receipt AND if you shop online, you should be able to see the points you are going to earn at checkout (as pictured below)…

There are so many deals to score from grill covers to grilling tools and MORE! Just make sure that the items are sold by Sears.com and that they qualify for points. Also, note that you may be able to use the promo code SEARS2014 to score $5 off a $50+ purchase AND keep in mind that it appears if you use points you’ve already earned to pay, your total CANNOT drop below $50 or else the 50,000 points won’t apply.

One deal idea (of the many you can score!) is on this Cuisinart 3 Piece Folding Grill Tool Set which is on sale for $29.98 (reg. $39.99!). You could purchase two (maybe as Father’s Day gifts?) AND qualify for the 50,000 in points, which means you are snagging TWO sets for only $9.96 after the $50 in points! AWESOME!

Be sure to share in the comments any of the qualifying grilling items you’re able to score…

(Thanks, Dhwani!)

How fast are people getting the 50k in points? I have waited 10 minutes and still nothing.

    • steph

If you received an email confirmation regarding your order it would show up at the bottom of the receipt they send you. I placed my order a few hours ago, my email came showing points added and they are already in my account.

    • jess

I ordered this morning at around 9am and just got on sears website at 2:20pm and my points were available.

  2. Heather

Is it once per account? Or can you place more than one order?

    • Cristine

      Should work for multiple orders….

  3. Kristin

FYI – deal may be dead. It said I would get $50k in points and email only said $1800 when Order was placed

  4. toniann

When can we use these points? It says I got the bonus points, I logged out and in again, and the points are not there. Anyone get them yet?

  5. Ems

Not working anymore. I was looking at stainless griddles and it said 50,000 points at first but now is not.

  6. Paulette

Hahaha…That only took like 2 hours, I’d put something in the cart, it would qualify, then suddenly it wouldn’t. I just checked my Shop My Way account & the points are there!!!!!

  7. Asia

I just did the deal and it said it worked. Hopefully it actually goes through. In my confirmation email it shows I have 50k pending points. :]

Deal still working at least for me. Did a second order to get some stuff to put away for Christmas gifts. Points were added a second time also. Make sure to click the Sears only tab when searching under the grill products.

In K-mart ad there is a promo for buy 25.00 GC and get 5.00 award plus 2,000 bonus points with limit of 2 per member.(FYI it is best to buy each 25.00 one at a time – I bought both at same time and it only generated one but manager gave me the other 5.00 GC) I bought the gift cards yesterday and used to purchase 50.00+ grilling items and went through shopathome to get even more back.

Just got a grill cover, stainless steel cleaning brush and an interesting shish kabob grilling set and earned my points. My total was $60 and all will be available for pick up at my nearby store. Fathers Day complete!

Did this deal this morning and got really nice Christmas presents for my Dad and Father In-Law…I had to call cust. serv. for the points but he added them right onto my acct. so I went straight to the store and got a pair of high heels I had been eyeing and 3 outfits for my girls!!!! Thanks Collin!

  12. Katie

Can this deal be rolled and done more than once? Thanks for posting Collin!

    • amanda

You can do the deal multiple times on your SYWR account however you must spend $50 in cash/credit card each time. You can’t “roll” and pay with all points to get more points.

      • Katie

Thanks! One more question. If I then earn points from multiple transactions, can I redeem them all at once? I’m new to this!

      • Michelle

Hi Amanda, when did you learn that you couldn’t pay in points and receive points in return? I’ve been going around in circles with SYWR reps on the phone. They say it’s in the terms and conditions, but I can’t find it. I recently purchased the headphones for $20 and expected to receive 20,000 points. According to the rep, because I redeemed points for the full amount, don’t receive points in return. However, according to them, if I had spent any amount out of pocket, I would have been eligible. I would love to hear about your experience.

        • Sweet

I wasn’t aware that I wouldn’t get the rewards the second time by using the rewards I earned in my first transaction (I am new to (SYWR). When I called the SYWR department, they explained that I wouldn’t get points because I redeemed points. Whey I called Sears Customer Service to cancel the order, the representative I spoke to said that I should have still earned the rewards the second time. She said she would put in a case. I am not sure who is right. I am interested on what you find out.

          • anitamarie13

I also had the same issue. Sears customer service is NOT to be answering SYWR questions- as they are not aware of the proper procedures. When I kept getting conflicting information from the Sears reps- more than one- they gave me the SYWR number. I was talking with the nice SYWR rep while still chatting with the Sears rep . The SYWR rep was upset at the incorrect information that I was given. In the end I found out: YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO USE REWARD POINTS TO BUY SOMETHING TO GET MORE REWARDS. Same line as the Wags with the register rewards- and you couldn’t roll a P&G RR and use it to get another P&G RR. Seems to be the same thing at Sears

Not sure if this has already been said but I was able to add $10 Syw promo code for spending $50 on top of $5 off $50 (you need to spend at least $55 for all to work). Earned a total of $62 points on my $50 purchase.

    • hoo

what did you buy? can you be detail? thanks for sharing.

    • mary quevedo

what was the promo code for $10?

  14. Allie

What if you used $49 in points and paid $1 in cash? This worked with the headphone deal last week.

Thank you much for posting this!
Just got a amazing deal. Got 2 12 pc sets and a grill basket. It was 61.00 but I had a 10.00 off 30 from my birthday email. Plus I had a spend 50.00 get 10.00 so I spent 55 after tax and I’m getting 60.51 back! Got both my dad and my husband’s father’s day gifts. Better then free! Plus just got a spend 25 in points get 20 back on my email receipt.

  16. Andrew

This is listed in the back of the ad for Sears. All week long.
As someone mentioned before, they do take kmart gift cards and when you pair it up with the kmart gc deal this week, you are really getting a bang for your buck.

    • Suzyq

Or like campanita said buy 2 $25 gc at rite aid and get 2-$5+ups!!

    • Rachel

What KMART gift card deal? Can you share details?

  17. Heather

Any idea when the points expire? I can’t find the info.

It worked on multiple transactions for me yesterday. Did all my Christmas shopping for the males in my family Yea! now I have several thousand in points for the females. But I am also kicking myself in the Butt!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just found out that Safeway has Sears gift cards that when you buy $50.00 or more you get a $10.00 Catalina for Safeway.

  20. Heather

I have placed a number of transactions this week. We are going to be buying a fridge soon anyway, so it is like buying the fridge and getting all of the extra stuff for free. 🙂
