  2. Lindak

I did the L’Oreal scenario posted previously and the young, male clerk told me i was a good shopper! Nice that even young folks recognize the value of coupons.

    • Jess

      That’s cute. πŸ™‚

  3. Brittany

Love Target deals! Got my $105 total down to $60. I used the personal care coupon on Old Spice deodorant. Bought 4 and used 2 .50/1 printables and a $1/1 plus the $5 off. Would have been a steal if last week’s gift card deal had been extended!

  4. maddison

I did the Act and the shampoo deal this week was awesome over 30.00 worth of products for 4.00 YAHOO!!!!!!!!!!!! πŸ™‚

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Yippee!! πŸ™‚

  5. CHRISTINE

So we can only use the “CARE” coupon on our phone once right? I used it for the L’Oreal deal yesterday but would love to use it on some of these tomorrow! Lol thanks in advance
    ladies =]

    • S

You can use your husband’s phone for another offer =)

My target only have the bigger size shampoo to get free sample sizes, were you able to get free trial size with smaller shampoo?

      • CHRISTINE

I did that already too! Lol and no, it was with the larger size but I didn’t realize it until after I paid. But no biggie lol I only paid $0.90 more and I’m a newbie so I wasn’t absolutely positive about what the deal was supposed to be anyway =] lol thanks for your response! =]

        • CHRISTINE

I just text “CARE” to the same number again and it sent me a coupon with a different number and letter sequence than the one before. Do you think that means I can use it?? Lol

      • Patrcia

I bouight the smaller bottles and got the free smaples sort of. They were out of the free samples so they let me have any sample priced at 97 cents.

  6. Maile

My target cashier actually had a personal care Q taped at the register and automatically scanned it for my transactions. I’m assuming this was because of all of the problems with the printed version not scanning πŸ™‚

    • Laura

That happened today to me too! I got scared because the cashier pulled out her reading glasses to read the coupon and I’m just thinking oh great what a hassle this is going to be! And then she took the scanner and scanned a coupon that was hung up. I had no idea they were having problems. I used another one a few days ago and I think it scanned fine. This was such an awesome deal I stocked up on the Loreal shampoos and conditioner, I have so much shampoo already! More donating!

      • Kelly

I work for Target and my store keeps a copy of the coupon by each register to scan because a lot of guests don’t even know about the promotions and we scan the coupon to help them save more! And also for those that forget their coupon.

  7. Diana

OT but i rcvd my starbucks coffee sample today! Packet of mocha coffee, via, and kcup. It was a nice little surprise πŸ™‚ looove freebies πŸ™‚

  8. April

Target in Port Charlotte, Fl would only apply $5 off $15 After all manufacturer and store coupons were deducted. Still a good deal but cashier said “corporate” told them they had been doing it wrong. Oh well…next time I wont wait to snag a great deal.

    • CW

Whaaat? My target in FL wasn’t doing that.

    • Cindy

The same Target told me the same thing! I was pretty disappointed. First the change at Walgreens and now this. Seams like policies at each store are starting to change and not for the better!

    • savedbycoupons

My Target has always only allowed ONE Target coupon with manufacturer coupon. If they take the $5 off $15 Target coupon, they will not take another Target coupon with it. It also states this in their coupon policy and right on the coupons.

      • Patrcia

Yup! They wouldn’t take my listerine coupon when I tried to use the $5 off and then wouldn’t take the $5 off either. I couldn’t use a BOGO coupon with the $5 coupon either.

  9. visitor3

I was happy with my deal: bought 3 Qtips (750-count packages, with a free body wash attached) & got the instant $5 gift card. Then I bought $15 in personal care stuff (mostly dental, deodorant) that I needed anyway and threw coupons towards, and got to redeem both the $5 off $15 coupon, plus the $5 gift card I’d just gotten for buying the Qtips. Nice deals! And I don’t have to shop for Qtips for a few years.

  10. Krista G

In the 6/1 PG, there is a coupon $5 off Old Spice shampoo and styler…..in the photo is deodorant. Shampoo is 3.99, deodorant is as low as 2.69. Coupons scanned for shampoo/deodorant combo.

    • Diana

Really. I dont remember deodorant in pic. I saw shampoo and hair gel stuff. I must look again! πŸ˜€

      • mel

The picture is just plain wrong. Whoever proofed, didn’t catch it, b/c it also shows the body wash too. So just b/c it scanned for the deo, doesn’t mean you used the coupon correctly. Always go by the wording, not the picture. It’s not the first time something has been shown incorrectly and not matched the wording and I’m sure it won’t be the last!

  11. Mary L

If you missed the L’Oreal coupon, you can still print a $2 off hair care or Hairstyling Product coupon (exp. 7/13/14)on their website. You will need to give name and email info. I was able to print 2.

    • Diana

      It says $1 when i checked πŸ™

  12. Amanda

I did the loreal deal! Amazing! Four shampoos and conditioners for $1 πŸ˜€

  13. Edwin

    YAY! I bought 40$ for 8.50$
    Pretty awesome
I squealed at the register since I had a 10$ and didn’t have to use my card
Lol even teenagers need to save money
    THANKS SO MUCH COLLIN πŸ™‚

  14. Lucy

Casey, (or anyone who can answer my question) I’m confused about the Venus buy 2 get 1free coupon. You can combine it with other coupons???

    • Kristin

yeah i don’t quite understand that either. how many razors did you buy? cuz if you bought 3…you’re not supposed to use any additional mq on the three. please help!!!

      • Diana

Misuse of coupons. If anything -maybe on the free one and thats a stretch… I thought about using this bogo q too but oop is still too high. ( i try to spend 0-$1 on razors😜)

        • Casey

It was no misuse. It was BUY 2 get one free. I used manufacturer’s coupons on the ones I paid for and got a free one. Nothing wrong about it.

  15. Nikki

A Target employee was unbelievably rude to me tonight. I went to a different Target store than my usual because items I wanted were out of stock at mine. I tried to do 2 different L’Oreal transactions, the first I bought a lot of food as well. The cashier scanned the ad coupon and took my printable, but when she saw my second transaction she said she would have to ask someone if I could do it again because it’s supposed to be a limit of one per household. This cashier was very friendly and courteous and I had no issues as I know all stores make their own policies, I’ve just never had an issue with Target not taking more than one store coupon no matter what the wording. An older woman came over to assist and ripped the coupon out of her hand and said no it’s a limit of one per household period, not even one per day, then proceeded to ask how I obtained two coupons because you can only print 1. I told her well you can print two on target.com and she told me no there is a limit of one, is this a copy? She was such a MAJOR B! All she had to do was say no, theres a limit of one per person, I’m sorry. I hate when people act like coupons are coming out of their paycheck and are extremely rude, I worked at a store for a long time and if I would have treated a customer like that I would have been fired! As a recent college grad still looking for a career in my field, times are very tough and couponing helps me save up what little I do make from time to time. I used to love shopping and creating gifts for my family members with my finds but it’s getting harder and harder to avoid situations like this or having a cashier practically inspect a coupon with a magnifying glass before even trying to scan it… not to mention the embarrassment when others are waiting behind me in line and are kept waiting. :/ Has anyone else noticed stores getting worse?

    • CW

Oh Nikki I hope you got that woman’s name who tore up your coupons and definitely call corporate. That was uncalled for! Yes you can print 2. They only let you use one but from reading posts that varies store to store. Regardless, the person not realizing you can print two, insulting you telling you that you copied it, and ripping it up was uncalled for.

    • Jessica

Ugh- sorry you had a bad experience and I agree it could have been handled better.

    • Mj

Of course you can print two. If anytime anyone says its a copy, ask them to look at the numbers that are on the borders of the target coupon. Target coupons have an unique serial number on their border for each coupon.

      • mel

Oh wow, I NEVER noticed that!! Thanks for pointing that out. It runs just underneath the Target Web Coupon / Expiration Date box!

    • Kelly

I’m sorry you guys are having such problems. The target I work for bends over backwards for people using coupons. We realize it’s still money and sales for the store with or without coupons! They also put copies of the ad coupons by the register to help people save that don’t know about them like the 5 off 15 for beauty. It helps us drive sales and loyalty to our store. I do, however, shop at another target just up the road and although I am a target employee they look down at me when I hand them a stack of coupons to use and read every single ones woeding. It really depends on the stores gstl and what they want the team to enforce.

    • campanita

That is why I do not even bother to go to Target any more. The one close to my house is very unfriendly to couponers and they never have the sale items in stock.

    • Arlene

Im here in Brooklyn NY, the Target here in my area are the worst cashier ever, they look at you as if your a beggar when they see you holding coupons. They keep you waiting and the worst part they will tell you the coupon your holding are copied, plus the promo which they have $5 off $15 on personal care which is from their ad on sunday newspaper is not working and no one bothers to fix it, one manager told me when I did the (Loreal deal $3.99 x4 = 15.96) she said you cant used the $5 off 15 with the manufacturer coupon $5/2 either you choose only one. Otherwise your total will be $10 and we cant deduct the $5off 15 because now its only $10 total. They dont know about thir own policy on stacking the coupons. When. I went to the the customer service they said its ok. But I didnt bother anymore to buy it as I am pregnant @7mos and my daughter who is 20mos old is getting cranky and tired too. I was thinking on opening a red card but never mind.

    • Maria

I have a really bad experience at Target last night when I try to use the $5 off when you spend $15 the manager told me I couldn’t use manufacture coupons because my total will be less then $15.

  16. Joins

Collin is it true you can only use the $5.00 off $15.00 once on mobile device?

    • Lauren

      Yes, it is true

    • Barb

Maybe its just a fluke, but I have used my Mobile coupon 4 times (Axe, Dove Men’s Care, L’Oreal, and Neutrogena) and it still doesn’t say redeemed. My oop has been practically free for each transaction. I plan to try again today, not sure why but I’m not complaining. Check your phone, if it doesn’t say redeemed on it, then you should be able to use it again.

      • S

I used it once and it’s grayed out…

  17. Priscilla

I can’t seem to find this coupon.
“And, use the $0.50/1 Reach Dental Floss Item Target coupon found here (Enter Sweeps)”

When I go to that link and play the game, the coupon page for Healthy Essentials only has a $1 off Reach coupon and I think it’s for the more expensive types. Plus, it’s not a Target coupon. What am I missing?

  18. Diana

Did another deal today- 1 old spice shampoo (w freebie attached), 1 old spice deodorant, 1 garnier leave in conditioner, 1 pack ban wipes, 1 gum toothbrush, 1 4pk firefly toothbrushes, 1simply lemonade, FREE After all coupons and $2 shopkick card!!!! Actually have change left on gift card! :)) happy dance 😊⭐️😊⭐️😊⭐️

  19. shop4mybabies

so it’s not a jump up for joy kind of deal but saved 5 dollars each on two 17$ large bottles of nexus shampoo….love saving money

  20. sabrina

My experience was horrible also while attempting to use this Target coupon. I posted the following to their FB page:

Upset!!! Went to Target at Louisville Jefferson Pavilion in Louisville Kentucky today and attempted to use the $5 off $15 or more of select personal care items coupon. The personal care items portion of my purchase totaled over $20. I was informed that Target corporate had instructed the store to refuse to accept this Target coupon in conjunction with any manufacturer coupons because “they are losing too much money”. I was told this at both the register and at customer service. Normally you can use one target coupon in addition to one manufacturers coupon per item. I was instructed that I had to “choose whether I wanted to use manufacturer OR this target coupon” on my items.
Did Target Corp. not think that people would use the coupon that they chose to advertise in their weekly ad, online at Target.com as a printable, as a mobile coupon and that they advertised all over the store? When they decided to change the terms of the coupon did they advertise that or change the wording of the coupon as they have done in the past? No, because they decided to use the coupon as a ploy to draw customers into the store and then hope that they would not decide to return the items they hoped to use the coupon on once they were checking out.
I have been a Target cardholder for 16 years and I frequent Target 2-3 times a week. I am disgusted by the lack of disregard that was paid to its customer base. At the very least a sign could have been posted on the store doors informing customers of the change in their widely advertised promotion.

Their response was: We appreciate the feedback that you shared with us. We understand that your experience was disappointing, and we will share your comments with our Promotions team. Thanks!

I understand that Target coupon use is at their discretion per their corporate coupon policy but I feel like the company should honor their offers.

    • Pat

I so agree with you. I had major problems too! I tried twice to use my coupon and they wouldn’t let me either time. It wouldn’t scan even as my first coupon without any manufactuer coupons scanned. Really upset me. The first time she told me that if I used the $5 coupon I couldn’t use the BOGO free manufactuer coupon and then the second time she told me it wouldn’t scan and she couldn’t force it to scan (the $5 coupon). I was not happy. Definately not going to do the dog food coupon.

  21. JENNIFER DAY

FYI. The 5/18 Caress coupons expired on 6-15, so unless you went Sunday, that deal is expired now. πŸ™
