Kmart: Double Coupons Up To $2 Value (Starts July 6th) = Print Your Coupons Now
Heads up! Starting July 6th, Kmart will be doubling manufacturer’s coupons up to $2 for all Shop Your Way Rewards Members! Note that there is a limit 5 coupons per customer per day and doubling a coupon cannot exceed the current price of a retail item – no cash or in-store purchase credit will be awarded for any amount exceeding the retail price of the item. There is also a limit of 4 purchases of the same item.

Limit of four purchases of the same item. Please help me understand that. For example, if I buy four shampoos (same product), I would still need 4 coupons (that would double of course). It doesn’t mean I can use one coupon for the four items correct?
You can use 4 coupons because you are buying four items. It just means that you can not get more than 4 of the same items. Keep in mind that only five coupons will double.
You would still need four coupons. That rule really applies in the context of preventing someone from bringing 30 prints of the same coupon with the intent to clear the shelf.

Is this $1.00 coupons will become $2.00 and that is the “up to $2.00 or are they really doubling the $2.00 coupons to $4.00??? Never have seen stores do that but sure would be nice

It says NO purchase requirements.. so I would say no. they are just limiting how many coupons you can use to double to eliminate shelf clearing.
We’ll that would be a FAIL…I was the 3rd person waiting for the store to open and the two other ladies in front of me literally took 20+ each of the downy unstoppables, pods and febreeze items…what makes it even worse is that I politely asked if she could move a bit so I could grab my 4 downy unstoppables,, she gave me a dirty look and barely moved an inch.
So if a product is $1.99 and I have a $1 coupon….will it just double up to 99 cents? Or will they not allow me to use that coupon because $2 (the doubled coupon) would exceed the product’s price?
It will automatically double to $1.99 so you would get the product free but not the 1 cent overage.
Is $2 included? Since it says “up to” $2, I could see them arguing that it only goes up to $1.99.

yes, for example, if u have a $2 coupon, it will double and take $4 off your total.
I did this deal last time. All coupons $2 or less will double. No overage is allowed. If an item cost $1.89 and you have a $1 coupon the double part will only take off 89 cents making the item free with no overage.

I just spoke with a manager at the Augusta Maine store….yes $2.00 will become $4.00. And yes Teetee you are correct, the coupon will only double up to the actual amount of the item.

Collin, I heard that there is also a Catalina printing if you spend $30 in certain Procter and Gamble Products you get a $10 Catalina good on a different time frame shopping trip. Do you know if this is true?
I saw the signs yesterday in Chester, VA. The way I read it was if you spent the 30 this week on the selected items the 10 coupon is good the following week. It has been going on since at least late May. I attempted it but I didn’t get the 10 catalina back in May. They told me at customer service that it was because I used points to pay for a portion of the order.
I have done this deal a few times used coupons and points everything and still got the $10

When I pulled up the ad for next week it showed double coupon. I think it automatically shows ad for nine mile location but the ad is the same for Richmond metro area.

No, you can only double 5 coupons total. So if you use 4 coupons on 4 like items, then you can only double one more coupon for another product.
How about IP coupons any problems with doubling them ?
If u spend 30 in p&g you get a 10 Catalina. Then there is also a rebate for when u spend 30 (after coupons) get 10 back

It’s only up to $2
The max value that will double is $2, which becomes $4. UNLESS the retail value is less, than the coupon will only double up to that amount. Example, item is $3.50. If you have a $2 coupon, the register will only take off an additional $1.50 b/c KMart does not do overage.

I had a horrible experience at Kmart this morning with double coupons. The register did not double my coupons. The cashier and store manager looked so irritated at me. It wasn’t even my fault. It was a total disaster at the register. In the end two of my coupons still didn’t double. I am going to return the items. I don’t care if Kmart does double in the future, I am never going to be using coupons there again. It is more of a headache for me. I was at checkout for like 30 minutes. Had my two year old with me and just wanted to leave. Sorry, just needed to vent.
I didn’t have any problems yesterday, but only problems today. They wouldn’t take one of my coupons because it said “Available at Wal-Mart”. It didn’t say redeem but they wouldn’t take it. My K-Mart isn’t a Super store so I’m finding a lot of things they don’t carry. They have run out of many things, too. I had planned on going everyday, but I think I will wait a couple before I go back.
The double coupons worked great for me today. My mom and I went so we used 10 coupons total. We purchased 2 Febreeze cans, 1 box of Always Radiant pads, 2 boxes of Tampax Pearl tampons, 2 bags of Tide Pods, 1 6lb bag of Iams So Good Dog Food, and 2 bags of Purina Busy dog treats for only $15!

Loved the double couponing at kmart today went in with my bf we used different accounts not sure if they will accept with same account, didnt bother trying didnt want any confusion. Gona go again this week.
Be patient with your cashiers! Most of them have no idea what to do with the doubling. I was in line for 30 minutes before they got it right:)
I got some good deals today at Kmart but be careful – I had a $1 off 2 tic tac coupon and after I got home I realized that it only “doubled” my coupon to $1.19 even though I had to buy 2. I still got free 3 pack of zest soap, free mitchum deodorant and .50 soft scrub cleanser.

I try not to use coupons that are off multiple items because of the way the registers apply the coupons for doubling, at my local stores the screen pops up so the cashier has to “pick” the item that the coupon goes with, if they don’t pick the right item (which is what usually happens at my store unless I say something first) or they only pick 1 item instead of the two it should apply to it will not double properly.

I saved $30 today…I used mainly $2 coupons to get the biggest savings.
Only complaint is my rewards points didn’t show the correct amount so I ended up not getting to use $7.
I went today and purchased 2 febreeze sprays, 2 tampax tampons and 1 downy unstoppables. and paid $4.77 for all! The unstoppables alone is $5.49…and that’s sale price. Needless to say, I was pretty excited with my trip! 🙂
Definitely do the Reach toothbrush 2-pack deal: They are $4.99 and BOGO 50% off thru Mon 7/7, so it is $7.49 for 2, then double 2 of the $2/1 Reach 2-pk Q’s from 5/4 SS, which will take off $8 total, then also receive 2000 points for buying 2! Make sure you have something to absorb the $0.50 overage, then with your points added it is a $2.50 money maker for every 2 that you buy! 🙂 🙂

If any of you have pets the iams printables for $2.00 can get you some cheap dog/cat food. Be sure to buy $30.00 worth of the P & G and you will get a coupon for $10 OYNO. I bought 4 bags of cat food and one flings and paid $15.04 and got $10 back. Not shabby.
Almost forgot, make certain you have the $10 print out prior to leaving the store as I have noticed that the cashiers in the store I go to keep them. I asked the girl about it yestarday and she said sh sets them aside if a customer “forgets” them.
This is twice this week I’ve been told by Kmart and target that they are not going to be accepting any printed coupons from coupons.com or anywhere. They said they are not getting reimbursed for them . Anyone else heard this?

My kmart doesnt carry the Brawny 6 ct, the manager changed the price of the 8 big rolls from $11.99 to $7.99. I tried to use the sywr but it didnt ake it, i realized it is only good for regular priced item. I used the $1.00 though that doubled. i paid $6.42.. not as good as the deal on the ad.
My Kmart in KY would not accept printed coupons either.
You would think since they are so leary of coupons they would not do a double event? They make no sense. It almost seems like they go out of their way to annoy their customers.
I had the winner of the day! The cashier was totally clueless as to why the coupon was “doubling” it’s value. she’d scan my $2.00 then it’d take off another $1.99. So she’d try to void it and rescan. After watching her for a few minutes, I said “ma’am, the store is doubling coupons this week, so the register is correct” Then she said “but you’re getting it free, and that’s not right” “you can’t get this free” ARGGHHHH
So she called another cashier over, who told me the same thing. After a rather hilarious discussion with both, I said you guys really need coupon training, b/c ya’ll are totally clueless. And would rather loose out on a $50 purchase (I had lawn & garden items), over a few items that are “free” with coupon? And left.
Went to another Kmart, only b/c I was passing it by, and though wth, I’ll try again. This time I only got the 5 items and this cashier was a hoot. I told her about the trouble at the other store, and she shook her head. She told me to complain to CS, which I intend to!
Got a great deal today – two free Rice Krispie cereal and two free Nurti Grain. My store is closing so 10% off food. Then I used the $1.50/1 KFR coupons (cost 1,000 points for two), and then had SWR points for the last $1.20. Going to go back tomorrow and do it again!
I am very disappointed I just left my Kmart in Muscle Shoals to get my items for the double coupons when i get up to the register they inform me that they could not take printed coupons. I told them i had just use them yesterday and they said that the manager told them not to take them anymore. Is there anywhere in the coupon policy that says they do not take printed coupons? i was about to get some great deals too. I will email corporate to let them know about my experience.
Nice idea – but 30 minute checkout is sad. Thorndale, PA location has had “hundreds of dollars” in fraudulent printable coupons. So…. Checking and double checking against a booklet with copies of bogus Qs. Moral – quicker checkout with coupons that are not ipq.

I encountered the dreaded misreading of coupon wording by a front end manager today… The Soft Scrub states “one per purchase”.. She took it as One coupon per transaction. I told her she was wrong and I went on to question if the one coupon doubled… She said, “We dont double coupons” WOW!!!!!! Then I knew I was dealing with a person short of some brain cells.
