   An employee admitted to me today that they made a pricing mistake and that they will not honor the listed price. They really didn’t go out of stock.

   This was the email I got from Kohls re: the cancellations:

   Dear Melissa,

   I apologize that your order for several of the Majestic Home Goods items were cancelled. While Kohl’s strives to provide accurate product and pricing information, unintentional pricing or typographical errors may occur. The items were incorrectly priced and as such Kohl’s exercised its right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for those items.

   Kohl’s reserves the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to change or update information (including, without limitation, information related to text, pricing, availability and product descriptions) at any time without notice (including after you submitted your order and confirmation was received).

   Please know that it is not our intention to inconvenience you with the cancellation of your order and I hope that this will not affect your future shopping at Kohls.com. Your patience and understanding is truly admirable!

   I am going to the news because of them not honoring thr price,not because of not getting the chair.This will put some bad news out about koh’s.Most store honor the price mix ups.

   I’m disappointed that it took them 6 days to cancel my order, it was three days after I received the first part of my order.

   I did not get any email for cancellation. I chatted online with the rep asking where my ottoman. He said it was out of stock and that if Kohls has it in stock again, they will adjust the price to the same price.

   I think it is unacceptable to fail to notify me days after I ordered and not honoring this order.

   I doubt they will have it in stock ever again. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT KOHLS AGAIN!

   Ok, so I know this thread is over 7 months old however, I had ordered 4 of these last July andn like everyone else my order got cancelled. I had talked to MANY different customer service people about how anger I was about this and finally talked to one that PROMISED that as soon as these got back in stock that they would sell to me for this price. They set me up with an incident number. Well, I got on the kohls website 3 days ago and guess what……they had them. So I called Kohls to reorder, of course the first customer service person I talked to pulled up my incident number and read it to me….it said that they would sell me same products for discount price. However, he said they couldn’t do it. So I hung up and called again to talk to someone else……he did it and even gave me a bigger discount!!! Got 2 lrage chair and 2 of the smaller ones for $90! I saved over $1,135.00!!!! HOLY COW!!!! And yes Ihave been checking on the shipping status! They are coming! Be persistent people!! 🙂
