At my Target, there were Tide detergents for $9.99 (reg price 9.99) and there were also Tide on price cut for $9.99 (reg price 11.99)….the Tide detergents that were on price cut for $9.99 don’t prompt the gift card. FYI if anyone was wondering
I ran into the same thing!!! I think the 96oz bottles are the price cut ones and 62 or 69 oz (don’t remember exact size) are the gift card ones. So def want to pay attention. At my store they were all mixed in together on the shelf
I tried the deal at my Safeway this AM and they only let me use one coupon, they would not let me combined the two. I’m going to go again later and try again.
Same thing happened to me! The store coupon (that I cut out of their flyer) kept scanning as a mfr coupon and wouldn’t let me use the p&g mfr coupon with it. Very irritating 🙁

I’ve ALWAYS had problems with Safeway using printed coupons. Their policy is “if it doesn’t scan, it is not accepted”.
The rebate states that it applies to price paid after any coupons…would the gift card interfere with getting the rebate back?

I wouldn’t think so because to qualify for the rebate you will have actually paid the $30 needed oop.
No Go……its one or the other. They said coupon in ad that you clip is still not allowed to be stacked with manufacturers coupon. SoSad.
When I read that it was not working as described, I ended up taking my coupons to Walgreens and with the BR points there I got them for $1.06 a bottle.
In case anyone needs an extra $1.50 coupon, I was also able to print one from https://www.pgeveryday.com/tag/coupon after logging in.
According to Safeway and affiliate stores, we are only allow to use one coupon on the tide deal.
We can either use a store coupon or a manufacturer. I spoke to 6 people at the store I went to and called corporate office too.
I had never heard of this policy before. The cashier in customer service yelled at me in front of a line of people and my child. She said I wanted to get free stuff. I told her I wasn’t going to get the tide for free with both coupons.
The stores are getting really bad.
Also, at target, the cashier said the coupon for the post it notes was only going to work on the multipacks and not on the single. What a waste of ink and time.

Was able to score 2 tides for $1+ tax until they figured and were saying i couldnt do it in the first place, they let it pass and told me after the two i had to pay $3+tax, used self check out.
I went to my safeway did the $1 tide deal, but store coupon came off as .01, (manf. Came off just fine) so I went to customer service and showed manager. He said did you load the just4u digital $2 coupon onto your card? I said yes, but I want to use the $2 off coupon instead. He said if you already loaded the $2 just4u coupon on your card it will not let you use both, it’s their system and how it’s set up, but if I hadn’t have loaded it…I would have had no problem using both. He was very nice and gave it to me anyways!! Hope you guys can pick up one!!
Yes, it is very YMMV at Safeway. Most of the blokes there yell at you for trying. Seriously it’s just not worth the hassle any more to shop at Safeway with printed coupons.
The $10 rebate from P&G says $30 after coupons and discounts
I do Safeway (oregon)and pay by self service register with the just4you coupon and pg coupon. No problems . Also they have Huggies baby wipes (216ct) in $5 plus you load $2 coupon in 2 and manufacture coupon of .50 . Total $7.50 for both.
