Heads up! If you’ve been in the market for a nice deal on an iPad Mini – look no further! Starting the week of August 17th, Target will once again be offering up the Apple iPad Mini Wi-Fi 16GB for ONLY $199! This seems like a great price, as these regularly go for $299!
I would definitely recommend heading on over there the morning of 8/17 (if you are hoping to score one), as I’m guessing they will sell out super fast! Also, note that you may be able to price match at stores like Walmart and Best Buy.

Last year in November you could trade in ANY iPad and get a $200 credit. I did it then held on to the electronics credit and got the mini on Black Friday – 299 w/75 gc. I don’t know if Target will do it again, but it was a good value for my iPad 1!

It will likely be available online as well. Last time the deal happened a few months ago, I checked online at 3am EST and it was available for in store pickup. 🙂 I got an email confirmation around 6am EST saying my order was ready for pickup even before the store opened! It’s a good thing I did this because they were all sold out by the time I went to the store to pick up my order mid morning! Plus, I got $ back for ordering through ebates 🙂

I took advantage of this price two months ago. The store only had about 15 and was limiting to one per person. I arrived with my brother and could tell they were a little hesitant about letting us each buy one even though we were each buying for personal use and not to resell.
I ordered 2 for in store pickup and my order was ready for me to pickup before the store even opened that morning!
I had no problem buying 2 the last time this deal came around at target. Show up before the doors open… Because they are pulling stock to fill in store pick ups.!! Get in the door … There was no limit when I bought mine.
Last time NO ONE would match the price… They all pulled them from the floor and stock…. So be early and be ready…. 🙂

Our store matches Their online price if you go to the customer service desk to make the purchase. My girls found a Lego set they wanted and the online price was $10 cheaper so they gave them that price at the service desk.

That’s what I did last time. Bought Sat night and went back Sunday. I did ask at checkout, just to be safe, and they said it would be no problem.
Just a heads up….last time my store only had TWO. I ordered them online for in store pick up as soon as possible and went straight to get them. People were irate they didn’t have more in stock.

If you can’t buy an ipad2 for $90 why would you accept a trade in value of only $90?
Maybe if it was the better mini iPad, this would be worth it. Had one of these and the limitations offset the lower price. Best to wait until you can afford the more expensive mini.
I need to replace my laptop with something. Do people suggest another laptop, a tablet, or the iPad Mini? I have a lot of coupon/saving apps on my phone but would still need a way to print, etc. from my “computer.”
Not even worth going to Target since they usually only have a few in stock. Husband went to walmart last time and price matched it. No hassle and no wait.
The closest Target is a little over 1 hour away from me plus I live on Cape Cod and summer traffic over the bridge is horrible on Sundays. Do you think I can it the deal online or at least store pickup to give me a little time to get there? I def want to get this for my daughter for Xmas! Thanks 🙂
you should be able to do it and get the price adjustment as long as the next weekly ad is the one with the price adjustment . . . so you would need to wait until the 10th since the weekly ad with the price cut is on the 17th — atleast, that is how I read their ad match policy
Last time target had this deal Best Buy lowered theirs to the same price. You didn’t even have to price match.
