[h2s_box]*Hip Tip: If you’re interested in purchasing some of the other Register Reward items, consider purchasing them first in a separate transaction. Then use the Register Rewards you earned towards this scenario. Register Rewards can be used the same day they are printed. Just remember to not use a Register Reward earned from a product to purchase another of the same product because a new Register Reward will not print.[/h2s_box]

Don’t forget that these deals don’t start until Sunday, 8/10!

So if I buy the Walgreens diapers and tea, I pay $25 out of pocket, and then get the $10 to use in another transaction? Is that correct? I can’t apply any of the points to the diaper transaction can I? Love Walgreens diapers, but I admit the points kinda confuse me :/

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

No, you can’t use points to pay for another point earning deal, as you won’t get the points back if you do. πŸ™

  2. Shel

Off topic…does anyone have any Domino’s pizza codes they weren’t able to use? (They expire tonight.) We would be very happy to help keep them from going to waste πŸ™‚ You can email them to s t a y 4 0 5 (at) gmail (dot) com ….. [no spaces] We will really appreciate it; thank you!

  3. Brittany

Can you get the 5000 points back twice? Example: buy the Huggies and the well beginnings diapers in two transactions? Thanks

  4. Nat

Wait, if the coupon for the Huggies wipes is for the 300+ count and the ones that are on sale are the 100-216 count, would we still be able to use the coupon?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hi Nat! The $1/1 Huggies coupon I mentioned in the above scenario is actually being attached to the Huggies wipes (320 or 400 pack) that will be priced at $9.

      • Nat

Oh, whoops. Didn’t see that those were also included. Thanks for clearing that up!

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

          You bet! πŸ™‚

  5. Stef

I think the 3000 points for huggies are for 15 dollars or more, so you get only 3 000 not 6 000 points… or am I wrong?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hi Stef! You’re right! You will get 3,000 Balance Rewards Points when you spend $15 on Huggies! In the scenario above, you would be spending $30, which means you will get 3,000 Balance Rewards Points TWO times – which is equal to 6,000 Balance Rewards Points! Hope that helps! πŸ™‚

Now if only my walgreens ever stocked enough of their brand diapers. So annoying. Anyone know If one store doesn’t have the size I need, can I exchange at a different store that might have more, and not lose points or anything?

    • Trina

My points were taken away after I did an even exchange of a product. I called the balance rewards number and I was referred to the store manager. The store manager put them back on.

    • Judy

I tried to exchange diapers last time and it was a huge hassle

    • Jen

Ugh, thanks. I really do not understand why they don’t allow you to order more of each option online either.

  7. Amanda

I have a dumb question. My printer ran out of paper after printing a few huggies coupons so I went back and tried to reprint the ones it didn’t get to yet. How do I tell if the second ones are just copies of the first ones that printed or if they’re different?

    • visitor3

There is a serial number (for lack of a better term) in fine print, sometimes near the bar code. If the numbers are identical, you have a dupe. In theory the computer should accept only one.

  8. Lily

    I like CVS deals more

  9. Rose

Definitely going for this deal but off topic, I just started couponing and messed up the Pantene deal by using balance rewards to pay for it and therefore didn’t receive balance rewards for it. Can I return the bottles and receive the amount for the coupons and balance reward I used back or would I loose those and just get the amount I paid back? Thanks anyone for your help?

    • Cathy

If you return item paying by point, you’ll get store credit. And if you use store credit to buy Pantene deal, you won’t earn any point. Hoot that help

      • Rose

Thanks Cathy, do you know if I can use the store credit to buy deals that print Register Rewards? Or does store credit void both BRs and RRs?

Why does it all have to be so confusing! Haha

  10. Amy

Do these rewards print out on your receipt? How do you redeem them? Im new at Walgreens. Thanks!

    • Mel

The rewards are banked on your card. When you are ready to redeem them, you just tell the cashier (many don’t ask) and you’ll verify on the pin pad your zip code and that you want to redeem XX amount. Just remember you cannot roll BR (ie use BR redemption points towards another point earning deal)

  11. Lin

I’d like to buy 4 packs of Huggies pull ups. Would I get 12,000 points? And the 5000 points for a purchase over $30? Lastly does Wags let you ise 4 of the same coupons? TIA!

  12. Amanda

I received some wags coupons in the mail and one of them was spend $15 on huggies and get 3000 points. Do you think I could use it with this scenario?

  13. Amanda

Hi what is the in ad point booster coupon. How do I get this???

    • a friend

The points booster coupon will be in the upper right corner on the front page of the Walgreens weekly ad for 08/10/14. πŸ™‚

  14. jill

So, can you do this deal twice? I’m seeing that you can’t roll like you could with RR or ExtraBucks from CVS…But could you do this as a first transaction and then do another transaction earning more points and using the points from the first and then 3rd transaction use the points from the 2nd and earning more…? Does that make sense? πŸ™‚ thanks

    • Rose

I tried that this week with the Pantene deal. It does NOT work. You can’t roll balance points. If you use balance points to pay then you can’t earn them in the same transaction. Hope that makes sense πŸ™‚

    • Mel

No. You cannot roll points. If you redeem points on a deal where you are supposed to earn points, you won’t get them. But you can roll a RR to a BR points deal or roll BR towards a RR deal. Just no BR to BR. Hope that helps.

  15. gypsemommyX4

My walgreens has a new coupon policy of 1 transaction per day if your getting rewards points told me when I went to go buy shampoo πŸ™ im in cali they said they will know if you already got the deal that day cuz of your rewards card

  16. Nicki

I just did the huggies deal with $30 in product and they only gave me 3000 points. I called and they said it is 3000 points for $15 and over in product, not every $15 spent. Just a heads up.

    • KB

That stinks! I did a 45 (total, before coupons) Huggies transaction and I got 9000 points for that one.

  17. mmtate

I am going to the store tomorrow and attempt my first couponing moment with this task. It feels so overwhelming but these breakdowns definitely help.
