Do you have an item number of DPCI for the baby swing?
I spent the time to look it up Gina and they say there are NOT sold in any Target stores. My guess is in whatever city and state this person lives, someone else ordered one online, found they didn’t want or like it, refunded it back in only that one Target store and then this person luckily stumbled upon it clearance as when a Target store takes back an item only sold online, they usually try to sell it to get rid of it in their store as a clearance price because they don’t have shelf space to stock or sell it. I could be wrong but my guess is this is another isolated incident and it would really help more if people would be specific as to what city/state they find these deals in and someone should spend the time to check Target.com before sharing so everyone else knows this might not be found anywhere else.
yep that is def.the case. a couple of years ago, I brought a small bathroom stand that was on clearance. When I got home and opened it, most of the plastic bags had been torn open. It was obvious that the previous buyer had opened it, attempted to assemble it and there were missing parts and scratches/nicks. I then checked online and saw that it was online item only and not sold in stores. Had to return it, was such a waste of time. Hope this lady had better luck and her stroller is in perfect condition.
As a former employee of Target that did the Clearance markings I felt I needed to explain…..If an item comes back from “Online” than it is ticketed as such (Online), Clearance is merchandise that gets marked as Clearance (and those items are clearanced due to manufacturer changing labels, product size, or packaging) and Target wants the most current in their store or it goes clearance because Target will not sell the item any more. Target also has an “As Is” sticker and that is for items that come back to the store that someone opened the packaging and returns it – the packaging is not in perfect condition to sell as new so it gets the As Is sticker. Hope that clears up some confusion.
As well, not all Targets carry the same merchandise. This stroller could be at one Target but not at the next one. Sometimes look online for that deal.
I know what your saying about the internet items but I just wanted to say that those stickers normally say online item on them.
This stroller is sold in Target Stores. My local stores had it on clearance for 50% off a few weeks ago. I purchased it for $89.95. I looked online and it said it is not sold in stores but three different stores in the Memphis area had this stroller for sale.
I love that stroller. My daughter just outgrew hers.
Thank you for these heads ups. Are you able to post to share the city and Target store location where this person actually found these on clearance? I believe a lot of these clearance finds are not nationwide at all Targets so it would help so much more to know which Target stores and cities/states these people are finding such a great deal so in, to better help everyone know if it’s worth it to go check in our local stores or this was more of an isolated clearance. As a heads up for others: I went ahead and took the time to check this on Target.com and it would appear this person was very blessed and luck to have found this item in their store as Target.com says these Snapdragon Light Strollers are NOT sold in any of their stores.

And there is NO info given on a DPCI or model or anything specific for the Fisher Price baby swing so we’d all be looking for needles in a haystack to take guess as what it really is and where to really find it.
Last year I got mine ( around $140) in store. But for last 6 months I didn’t see any lightway plus stroller at 4 Target stores. I dont know why they took them from stores? The best stroller ever.
Just so you know, in my experience the target in-stock, sold in store, not sold in store etc is very very inaccurate. There are many items that say they are online only and I find them stocked as a regular item all the time. So this could very well be a clearance deal due to a return of an online only item or it could be an a regional or nationwide deal. 🙂
I, too, have found items in target and go online and it says item not sold in stores or the item is available online only and full price. It is usually with an item that is on clearance. I say that to say, don’t always trust what you find on target.com
I too purchased this same chicco stroller for the same price at my local Spotsylvania Virginia store in August as well. They had MULTIPLE of the same one for the same price.
I agree. I found four packages of munchkin newborn diapers for $2 a pack and they were marked “online item clearance”. Im sure this wasn’t everywhere. (No idea if these are good diapers or not but at $2 for 36 ill give them a shot lol).
I found a Delta 4 in 1 crib at Kmart for $57 online and picked it up in store, a changing table online at Babies R Us for $11, a bouncer for $15 at Kmart, an Evenflo breast pump for $14 at Target, and a Bumbo chair for $10 at Target. I also used the free surprise points from Kmart to get the stuff from there even cheaper. We’re all set for this baby in January. 🙂

My insurance covers breast milk storage bags too. I use the extras to freeze and store baby food.

Under the Affordable Care Act, breast pumps are covered, but the exact pump varies by your insurance plan. These are good quality electric pumps, however. In addition, women on WIC who are planning on breastfeeding are eligible for pumps, too.

I went earlier today and found a 7 pack of boys toddler briefs for $3.58. I was super excited because we’re getting ready to start potty training.
This happened to me at bed bath and beyond today. I found an ergo organic carrier on clearance for $75 and I was able to use my 20% coupon making the ergo only $60. It was marked DNC on the box (meaning do not carry) because it was bought online and returned to the store. I am super excited because I definitely need a carrier with baby 3 coming in October.
I saw the chicco liteway plus on sale at the coon rapids, mn store a couple of weeks ago for $90. Perhaps, they’ve dropped the price even further for those that didn’t sell out initially.
My Target in Wisconsin had this stroller and I was able to pick one up. I also had a $5 off $35 coupon that I got when I did the store pickup with Baby Organics the week before. I also had a 5% off (for filling prescriptions) and I used my Red card for another 5% off. I was able to get this stroller for $36! For weeks this stroller was in the clearance section but was not marked. I even scanned it and it was not ringing up on clearance. Then all of a sudden it was marked down to $45.04. Our Target does carry these strollers–it was not an online return.

These are items that were purchased online and then returned to the store. The store restocks the items but has no designated shelf space for these items so they clearance them out. I found a $100 piece of art at target one time for like $10.
I went into my target which had one without a clearance price on it, I scanned it and couldn’t give me a price. I asked someone to scan it and they told me this stroller was already supposed to be sent to goodwill 2 months ago. They told me their last clearance price was $89, and if I wanted it they could sell it to me for that price, I left the store empty handed and mad.
OT, does anyone have a Victoria secret free shipping code? I am paying with an angel card. I am trying to order 150$ in bras and underwear and they want 20 bucks shipping…while I will pay for the product, I loathe paying for shipping. They have a special for free shipping and returns with a swim purchase. You can always add that get free shipping ( it gives free shipping on everything) and if you don’t like the swim item, send it back for the free return.

I bought the same stroller at my local target. It was the only one left, so I bought it at 50% off ($90, also used red card). I went to another store in my area and they had 3 of them on clearance for the same price. This was a few weeks back, so they are probably gone. I’m in Chicago suburbs.

I have found items that say online and usually they clearance them at 75% off. I found 2 days ago 3 stackable Lego storage containers that look
like large Legos for $7.50 each with online price of $29.99 each.
I bought this stroller at my target a couple weeks ago on clearance, around that time I saw them in an additional 3 other target stores in town.
I have to disagree with those saying this particular purchase is an online return. I have not tried to find this item, I am basing this on the Target clearance stickers pictured in the post. Typically if it is an online return item (1) the clearance tag looks slightly different and has a bar code on it in addition to the pricing and (2) does not typically get marked down multiple times like this one appears to have with all the layered clearance stickers.
I agree with you. One time I bought a halo sleep sack for $5 marked down from $20. The red sticker said online item on it. The sticker in this picture looks like it is a store clearance item.

As a former Target employee I can tell you that you just have to learn the schedule at your local Target. At my local target markdowns in kids/baby were on Mondays. However this was several years ago and definitely varies from store to store and region to region. Also keep in mind that the amt of markdown can also vary depending on how high traffic the store is and the amout of stock they have.
Mondays for baby section. If the store is running behind then it could be late in the day the markdowns are done.

You have to be careful with online clearance too because they have a barcode on the clearance sticker that will ring up the discounted price. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to go back to the store because the cashier scanned the normal barcode and it rings up full price. I should be paying more attention at the checkout stand but with 3 little monkeys hanging all over me I usually don’t notice until I’ve already gotten home.

I looked all of the Pittsburgh, PA area today and I found one. It was $180.00 reg. price reduced to $155.00. Not a good deal in my opinion. We never seem to get the deals that other people post about getting. Oh well, such is life.
I seen this stroller at 2 different Targets, one of them was only 10 mins away while the other was 45 mins away. I knew when I seen the price of $45 I should have grabbed one.
