    Awesome! Love better than free!!

  • Holly says:

    I assume $2.99 is a sale price.
On IG, a few people are saying go NOW to get the same deal b/c the MQ expires on the 31st. But they are defining $2.99 as the regular price (not for my area; at least $5 is the reg. price).

  • chris says:

how many register rewards can you receive for this product?

  • Angela says:

Collin, I went to walgreens yesterday and I was trying to purchase something that came with register rewards. I used a MQ on it too and the RR didn’t print. The manager told me that now if you use a coupon on a specific item and a RR is attached, it won’t print. She also did a transactions without the MQ to show me and the RR did in fact print. I’m not sure if this is something new and recent or if it depends on the walgreens? Because a few weeks ago I bought things with MQ and got RR back.

    • Laura says:

Wow thanks for the heads up. If that happens to me, I will cancel the transaction and leave.

      • mel says:

If you use a Manuf coupon that is the same value or a RR from the same vendor (P&G, Kimberly Clark, Pepsico), then the expected RR will not print. The system thinks you are using a RR since RRs are coded the same as Manuf coupons. Walgreens is very tricky and you seriously need a degree to navigate the ins & outs of shopping there. They have dropped below WM in my list of stores now, and that is saying a lot b/c WM has always been a thorn in my side, but Walgreens has them beat now!

        • Angela says:

          Hi Mel,
          Thanks for the info!
But I didn’t use any RR and the value of the MQ was not the same. I was trying to purchase the scrubbing bubbles toilet gels and I had a $1/1 and if you buy 2 you get $2 RR back (price for items was 2/$7). I bought 4 and used 4 $1/1. That’s not the same amount right? I was expecting to get back just 1 $2 RR

          • mel says:

Hmm… That is odd. If you bought 4 in the same transaction, then that may have been the problem. RR’s only print for the amount stated in the ad (unless it’s a National Catalina deal where it’s a buy more offer that is going on at multiple stores, and Collin will post those offers) Their ad even shows manuf coupons with RR deals often. So I don’t think that was the issue.
Sometimes the catalina machine is “off”, not powered off, but there is a delay in the info being received. I did a deal many months ago, and the when the cat didn’t print, I alerted the cashier. She said she’d help me after the next person. As soon as she started scanning their items, my expected cat spit out (they were buying cigarettes and chips!) Which was weird, but the cashier said it happens from time to time.

If you don’t want to deal with the store, you can always call Catalina (Give it at least 48 hrs and have your receipt handy as they will need info off it). They will send you a replacement. Its 888-8CO-UPON

            • Angela says:

Thanks mel! The national Catalina that Collin posted didn’t print either. I will definitely call that number to see what I can do. :)

        • terri says:

I agree Mel…I stopped shopping there and know my local store is empty of customers. I hated feeling like a criminal when I tried to use a valid coupon. No big loss for me, I don’t miss them.

  • ND says:

I have issues at my Walgreens anytime I try to use any coupon! Not coupon friendly.

  • Joyce says:

Wow. That may explain what happened to me a couple if weeks ago when I used Scrubbing Bubbles MFR coupons and the RR didn’t print?!?!?!

  • a friend says:

RRs not printing when an MQ is used may be regional or store specific, because this past Sunday, I did the Crest/Oral-B deal, and I used 3 MQs and I received the $5 RR. I hope your stores become more coupon-friendly and reverse their policy soon.

  • Carol_R says:

Thanks for the heads-up Collin. Fortunately, at the Walgreens near me the cashiers are very nice.

  • alicia says:

is the register reward printing now and the sale price starts the 31st or the regiter reward wont print till the 31st

  • Rowen says: has a $1.50/2 for scope. Not sure if you can do two in one transactions, but it’s still free, with $.52 to spare.

  • Laura says:

All 3 of my Walgreens were sold out by 8:00am. All 3 are telling me that they didn’t receive any on the truck. One more reason to not like Walgreens! No sense in getting a rain check, as it won’t have the RR.
