Can anyone tell me what is usually in this magazine? Is it articles only on NY? Thanks!

I love this magazine, and it isn’t cheap! It is about more than just New York. It is not a light read but is a great way to stay informed on current events, politics, arts, etc. I have been wanting to buy a subscription for my daughter at college, so this was very timely!

It does make you want to catch a show or gallery opening, but there’s so much more content that’s not based in New York.

I think it has to do with politics, current events and stuff, not really about local New York.

    Ok, per their website:
The New Yorker is a weekly magazine offering a signature mix of reporting and commentary on politics, international affairs, popular culture and the arts, science and technology, and business, along with fiction, poetry, humor, and cartoons.

    HtH!!!

I love getting these free magazine subscriptions and truly appreciate them, but I must say that some of these “surveys” and questions are a bit much. After I stated that I don’t do business lunches and that I am a homemaker, it still asked me to write 6 reviews on business lunches. I can understand having a survey and questions, but none of it was relevant and honestly I had to make something up just to complete it…it makes me feel kind of crappy writing false things just to get a free subscription.
Am I the only one who feels this way?

I agree. Love free, but do wish they’d keep the surveys relevant so I could honestly answer

How does one have 24 characters in their address if your address does not have that many? Without those it will not go through.

  12. Michelle

I have never EVER seen this magazine for Free. This is a expensive magazine to get for free. I snatch this one up quick. My friend would be amazed I got this for free…lol

  13. Esther

Thanks, Colin. This should start when my current subscription runs out. It’s an expensive magazine so this is a very good offer.
