I tried doing this last time but the cashier told me I could only use one manufacturer Werthers coupon. I had two different coupons though, one for the originals and one for the sugar free. I also used the $1/2 in the booklet so it ended up being $.50 per bag which I was happy with, just confused as to why they didn’t accept both manufacturer coupons.
My walgreens has told me that the number of coupons you have cant be more than the amount of items you have in your transaction. Maybe that rule applied in your case also since you were trying to use 3 coupons on 2 items. they told me there coupon policy has changed. I hope this helps.
your cashier was wrong, next time ask for a manager. I did this for a friend & used 6 mfg coupons & got 6 bags for FREE & it was our store manager that checked me out & there wasn’t any beep, snag, or hold up.

I think Walgreen’s is hurting themselves on the coupon business. I don’t see why you can’t use a store coupon and manufacturer’s coupon with a single item. They always told me I can’t use more coupons than I had items. Why does that matter if they are store and manufacture. They get that money back don’t they? I shop CVS now, no more Bull-cookies from Walgreen’s!

The caramel apple ones are $1.09 at my Kroger. They have a tag that says special price.

I did this deal today. I bought 2 & used the Walgreens coupon & manufacturer coupon $1/1 in 7/27SS and they went thru no prob. No beeps or anything. I later went back & did 4 more… Still no beeps. Thanks for posting this deal 😊
