Yes!! My kids scored a gallon ziploc bag full of candy at our Labor Day parade. I let them pick out one piece to eat and then put it in the freezer till Halloween. Money saver and keeps my kiddos from too much sugar. It always is perfect. Candy doesn’t really go “bad” anyways 🙂

They do freeze well! I stock up at Halloween for the whole yr, just stick them in the deep freeze and pull out as needed.
The other thing I do w/ these Halloween candy deals is save some for my son’s Dec. birthday party – he always clamors for a pinata and who would know that the candy is from October?!

Can anyone confirm this deal? At my store the larger size bags were $14.99 and were NOT part of the gift card deal. There were smaller bags like in the weekly ad that were $10 and part of a gift card deal, but they were only around 40 oz so this coupon wouldn’t work.
I was there .. There were a variety of bags … In the seasonal department not the everyday candy isle! They were labeled properly in my store; Hudson, WI. 9.99 with the tag buy2get a 5$ Gift card
The ounces, I believe are based on the two bags oz together not individually! Hope that makes sense to you 🙂
I noticed that all the larger bags were not on sale for $10 and there was no $5 gift card with purchase. Will go back another time when I have more time to really understand this deal.
The coupon is for 68.75 oz, which they DO have at Target, but they are not part of the GC deal.

No, the coupon is not combining the weight of two bags. You need to buy the larger bags to use the free candy coupon, but the larger bags are not on sale for $10, nor are they eligible for the $5 gift card promotion. This whole “deal” doesn’t exist.

Same here, the biggest bags were $20, the smaller $15, and they were not part of the gift card deal. The $9.99 bags for the GC were not big enough for the Manuf. coupon.
I searched my entire Target store, and none of the big (67 oz and larger) bags were on sale for $10. I was really disappointed to discover that this wasn’t a real deal after all!! 🙁

Can you use a Walmart coupon at target??
It is NOT a Walmart coupon. It is a manuf coupon suggesting to purchase at Wal-Mart but it can be used at other stores. Also target updated their coupon policy to say they will accept coupons that say redeemable at/available at last week.
I was so excited to get this deal but sadly it wasn’t a size match! The bags on sale for $9.99 that trigger the $5 gift card are only 45.8 oz. Bummer!

Yeah I don’t see this deal actually as a deal. Has anyone had it work? I cant even find the right sized bags for the coupon at my store. They are not part of the GC deal-They are larger than the ones on the GC deal. I had an eye on this deal before everyone posted it but the oz are off.

I was so excited to get this, went to Target, coupons in hand, cartwheel ready on phone, but no such luck. The larger bags were $14.99 not on sale, smaller bags were marked $9.99 on sale by 2 get $5 gift card but would not work with size restrictions on coupons. Collin do you know about this?? Not really the deal you posted. So disappointed !
I had the cashier scan a bunch of bags trying to figure out which ones worked for the GC deal AND matched the size stated on the coupon. Only the $9.99/$10 bags worked (which were between 80-150 ct), and they were well under the 67.85 oz. So no-go. Are people just using the coupon on the smaller bags and don’t care about the size?
Same at my Target in Indiana. No larger bags that worked for the GC deal.
Anyone actually tried this deal? I’m having the same problem at my store. Giftcard ones aren’t big enough for the coupon for the free snickers.
I agree with everyone! This deal along with the old spice deodorant and the Colgate toothpaste and shick Quattro razors were a FAIL! First time hip2save lets me down. Bummer!

I had the same problem as everyone else-that size bag is $20, not $10. bummer.
The candy deal worked for me..no problems I bought the candy in the picture $9.99.. the sizes were correct.. got free snickers and the gift card deal.. The toothpaste deal worked for me as well. I had coupons for the toothpaste.. I did not try the old spice deal.. I am in Isanti Minnesota.

Was excited last night to get huge bags of mars for a steal but could not find the same size stated Here for $10. It costs $15 per bag and no $5 giftcard offer. I ended up getting the smaller bags and had put back the small bag of snickers cuz coupon for buy two get snicker free wouldn’t work either.
Just got back from Target. So frustrating spent a lot of time prepping the deal only to get there and the deal doesn’t exist, as stated above. Just a reminder to double check the deals. However I totally scored on the Tresseme so it wasn’t a total loss!
Yep, unfortunately a huge waste of time, gas, printer ink and paper. I am a faithful reader of this blog for years and I understand mistakes happen or deals don’t work out in reality like they look like they will on paper BUT have the courtesy to issue a correction.
I’ve truly tried to utilize, nevertheless it will not functions in any respect.
