Store Coupons/Deals:

CVS: Go here to download and print a $2 Off Coupon for Calendula, valid only at CVS.

Family Dollar: Tip from reader Kristi – “I was at Family Dollar and starting today they will price match. You have to bring in the ad and it has to be from a local store. I tried it today and found it very comparable to Walmart & Target.”

Sam’s Club – Tip from reader Carole – “I know Sam’s Club isn’t always the best buy, but in my opinion there is one item that is definitely a great buy. It is the box of plastic wrap. I just finished up a box (I have only used 2 in the last 20 years) and they now cost $10.98 for 3,000ft of wrap. I love the convenience of always having wrap and I love the dispenser box.”

Starbucks: Tip from readers Noel & Gena – “Check your email for a new Starbucks Rewards Bonus Star Challenge for consecutive days from Oct. 1st-Oct 7th. If you go 4 Days in a row, 4 Bonus Stars…5 Days, 5 Bonus Stars…And 7 Days, 7 Bonus Stars. The trick is to go “in a row.”

BabiesRUs/ToysRUs: Tip from reader Ami – “So I received my coupon for the Playtex Diaper genie in the mail. It says “up to $23 off and diaper genie diaper pail. BabiesRUs just sent a new flyer and have a 2 for 1 system on sale for $32.99. That makes it $9.99 for the diaper genie elite, diaper genie essentials AND 100 refills. For me, that’s an awesome buy.”

JCPenney: Tip from reader Renee – “I just opened my mail & got my new JCP credit card. Attached to the paperwork which explains about the rewards is a $10 off $10 or more purchase. I wanted to let you know cause it is easy to miss.  At first I thought it was an advertisement.  I see a trip to JCP in the near future.”

Walmart Savings Catcher: Tip from reader Dawn – “I earned $20.40 with my WalMart Savings Catcher app, and when I went to redeem it, it asked if I wanted to double that to $40.80 by redeeming it to a BlueBird American Express card (no credit check or anything) instead of a regular WalMart card.I don’t know all of the specifics, but it seems like a great deal!”

Has anyone tried the Blueburd thing at Walmart? Seems like great deal, but I’m wondering if there’s a catch?

    • JA

      *Bluebird. I can spell, really.

      • w

if you click redeem it will give you the option I have it too…

    • rebecca

If you click on the option, you can see more details. It seems like a bank where you can use the money you receive from the receipt refund as a “checking account” that only works at Walmart. It also seems that you can use any other money you deposit into it as a regular checking account. From what I can tell, it has $0 charges for almost everything, the exception being if you use a non-Walmart ATM then the charge is $2. It also says they will double up to $499.99 per calendar year (the amount might be a little higher, I forget) but that the offer is only valid until February 2015. I have yet to cash out this way since my main question is if it doubles even after the first time I cash out or is it a one time offer. If so, I’m going to wait until February until I cash out. Right now I’m at $20 with WM or $40 with Bluebird. 🙂

Disposable foil pans are a steal at Sam’s Club, too. I cook for the homeless shelter every month and go through quite a few of them and it is great to be able to buy the big pack and pay only 30 cents each instead of a dollar or more.

Thanks for the tip. I use them often and this would help alot.

A bit off subject, but seeing the diaper genie reminded me. . . Did anyone receive their diaper genie freebie from Sam’s yet?

    • Heather

I got a coupon for a free one that I can redeem at Walmart. We will see how that goes.

    • Daphne

I got the diaper genie in the mail about a week ago. Not the coupon, the actual diaper genie.

    • Seymore95

Just got coupon in the mail. I redeemed at Walmart with no problems.

  5. Kayla

Im participating in the Savings Catcher at Wal-Mart but opted to do Wal-Mart gift card instead of Bluebird card. I know if you use the Bluebird card, you get double the money but I think there is also a monthly fee or something.

    • LT

There is no monthly fee for Bluebird.

  6. Linda C.

The Thanksgiving Savings Tip Sweeps has you enter your email and name and then when you select your coupon to print, it says that the number of prints has expired. Did that for all of the products.

Not sure if it’s a legit site or not, so just a heads up.

  7. Vergin

Today, in the walmart CS said that they are stopping price matching with other stores, because of the savings catcher. Is this true?

    • robin

OMG!! I hope not! All I have in my town is Walmart and Kroger. Since Kroger seems hell bent on messing with couponers I’ve been finding myself at Walmart more and more to PRICEMATCH!
