$50 off is an awesome promotion not every deal can be completely free.
No one said it should be free…but some of these companies charge a ridiculous amount for shipping.

Shipping in general is high, if you were going to the post office to mail them yourself it would be the same price or more.
I think of it as a convience fee or $40 off if it was something I was planning to buy or on my wish list anyway.
Yes I know shipping can be high. But when a company wants to charge almost $30 to ship a pair of sunglasses that is, in my opinion, way to much. To each their own though…it might be a good deal to someone else.
Shipping is $29.95 no matter which pair I add to cart, the other two shipping options are blacked out. If you don’t live near a Macy’s it’s a PITA to spend over $100 just to get free shipping and then return the extra item.

I had the same problem with shipping. Do the live chat and talk with a representative and they will manually adjust the shipping from Express to Standard. Apparently there is a website update issue.
Mine showed up as $9.95 but I decided to add some kids clothing to get it above $99 and make it free. I just can’t bring myself pay shipping lol … not sure if I will keep it all since ordering clothing online is always so iffy on whether it fits right or not but I figured I can just return it in a macys store if I don’t like it.
I refuse to pay for shipping!! I always order stuff to hit the minimum, then return. sometimes I order stuff random, so I know I won’t keep it!!

Purchasing something knowing you will return it is tacky and a waste of everyone’s time. Just don’t.
if macys store is near by, buy something other than glasses and make it more than 100$ and shipping is free then. and i am planning to return the other item when i get them. anyways almost all the kids glasses are gone

I’m talking to a rep now and she said that b/c the glasses I chose were being mailed directly from the vendor and that the express was the only option. But if I spent $99 I would get free shipping. My husband needed new work shoes so I just added them and got the free shipping. Now I have new Sunglasses for a Christmas present for him, his are 7 years old.
I’ve never ordered from Macy’s before. Just wondering how their return policy is? I usually shop with Nordstrom. Their free shipping an return police is amazing! Still, these Ray Bans(even with the 29.95 shipping) are way cheaper than the ones I was looking at at Nordstrom.
Returning items to Macy’s is super easy if you have the receipt that ships with the package. I’ve had a rude sales person tell me I had to return an item from the department it was ordered from, but that’s not true. I’ve returned men’s polos in the designer bags/accessories department.
If you purchase $50 of beauty shipping is free and can add the sunglasses to the same order.

I just tried to order a pair of Ray bans and shipping jumped to 29.95. I spoke with someone on live chat and she adjusted my order once it was complete and removed all shipping charges. My hubby is getting Ray bans for $37.08 shipped!
I got a message today that says the Ray Bans I ordered is now unavailable. I’m so mad!! 🙁
Code doesn’t work anymore. I ordered a pair of Oakley sunglasses for my 17 year old nephew and when they came they were youth. Didn’t say anything about youth on the web page and they were listed under “men’s”. I figured I would just return them and order a different pair that would fit and the code doesn’t work now. I am on hold with customer service, can’t understand her at all, and she congratulated me on getting $5.00 off the correct size sunglasses. Really? Where has customer service gone?
