This is an awesome company! Have been doing surveys for them for a few years and nothing but positive things to say. Easy surveys, prompt payment, and occasionally a product to try. Highly recommended!!

I love Pinecone! I do the cash payouts and usually receive my checks within a few days. I’ve been a member for a couple of years – I have no complaints. It’s east money and I sometimes get free products to try!

I’ve been on Pinecone for a while now, and it’s pretty easy to do. They give u a survey about once or twice a week. Each survey pays about $3. Occasionally they’ll send u a product to test. I’ve had a couple sent including drinks and home products not in the market yet. Pretty cool.

Pinecone Research is awesome. I applied several times and finally got accepted last month. I love making money taking surveys and trying out products before they hit the market. I highly recommended them.

I love Pinecone – I do several surveys a week for them. The surveys are short and they pay promptly through Paypal.[/h2s_box]

This site is awesome, each survey is only abt 5-8 min. Supa easy, but they only send 1 or 2 surveys each week. I just cashed out $99

    • nicolegammeter

      Sweet! ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Lisa

      How much per survey?

      • Spring

        $3/survey

      • Lindsay

I did it a few years ago, and stopped because it wasn’t worth it. $2/$3 for 10-20 minutes of my time wasn’t worth it for me. It was like 2 surveys a month.

        • Melissa

Same here. I did them for about 2 years, I got about 1/week and got to do 2 product trials. Kind of fun at the beginning but it got to the point where 20 minutes of (precious) time wasn’t worth $3 anymore. Good if you have spare time and don’t mind sitting on the computer, but not for me anymore.

    • arlene

Amount of surveys I believe depends on your activity I get at least one survey every 2 days and am very prompt to complete for them to send me a new one. I ve also gotten products mailed to me to try. It’s nice!

      • cowgirl3746

You can actually go on your profile and set the survey options to how frequently you want to get them. The default setting is not very many but I have mine set to get unlimited amount per day and I get them all the time

    Ermagoodness, I finally got in!

    • jennkube

How do you know you got in? I submitted my application and did not receive anything say I did or did not qualify.

      • Gretchen

Make sure you check your spam folder, I did and found a ton of emails from them, I thought I had added them to my safe sender list but Gmail keeps sending them to spam!

  3. Rosie

    Page 404, not found.
I always get this when I click the links, why??

  4. jan

    ๐Ÿ™ never accepts me

  5. Shelby

Ugh I can’t wait to get in. Denied again. ๐Ÿ™

My experience with Pinecone Research wasn’t as positive as everyone else’s, unfortunately. I thought they were great, and did surveys for them for between six months to a year. I even recruited others to sign up after they shared about how they needed new participants, and then they dropped me out of the blue, with no explanation. Wish I knew that was how they treated their members before speaking so positively of them and getting others to sign up. : (

    • Megan

I had the same thing happen. All was going well with them and I would complete every survey they sent me and then they dropped me too without any explanation. I even contacted them about it a few times and was told they would look into it and I never received a response.

    • Katie

Same thing happened to me! As soon as I cashed out my first time they dropped me. Never gave me a reason

    • Paul

My experience wasn’t that great, with them, either. I used to be with them, some years ago, and got dropped, after inquiring about why I wasn’t paid for a survey. I wrote them and was told that I hadn’t done the survey. Instead of checking again, they just deactivated my password and that was that. No further survey offers and no follow-up email about the non-payment. Though, honestly, it was a bit of a relief. The payments had gone from $5, down to $2 or $3. The survey lengths were also increased, along with the payment drop. So, they really weren’t compensating us anywhere near the amount of time it was now taking to honestly complete the surveys. Although, I was with them for awhile, I don’t think that they are a great company.

    • Esther

I at least got an explanation for being dropped. We had a Mac and didn’t use Internet explorer at the time and even though it worked most times they said they would get in touch when they updated to something other than INeternet explorer. Never heard from them again. This was Years ago….when they sent checks for $5.00 / survey

    • mindy

we have good experience with them so far…we got $150 this year and another $21 check coming. They keep sending us email to sign up for paypal but we haven’t…just afraid they may drop us in the future.

    • DianeNC

I actually just found the old e-mail response I received from Pinecone after multiple attempts at trying to find out why I was no longer receiving surveys:

“Periodically we have found it necessary to refresh the composition of our research panel in order to stay current with changes in the general population and to provide clients with the broadest possible spectrum of consumer opinions. In doing so, on occasion we have had to discontinue the membership of some of our panelists.

Your household was on the list for deactivation and subsequently removed from the panel.

Although we are unable to reactivate your membership, we appreciate your past participation and interest in the panel.”

I think what bothered me the most was that as I mentioned in my previous posting, they did this after sending out an e-mail to all members asking for our help in recruiting new members, which I was glad to do, and then they proceeded to drop me. (They don’t tell you they’re dropping you either, by the way, you just stop receiving the surveys…)

      • Diane

Thanks for sharing this info. My daughter, too, was dropped a couple of years ago out of the blue. She was faithfully doing all the surveys, and also completed a couple of fun product reviews, so she was very disappointed to be dropped.

        • Rebecca

Me too. I was dropped after doing the surveys for 10 years. Not a peep. I was disappointed they couldn’t even bother to send me a form/mass e-mail to let me know.

  7. Katie

My friend has been raving about Pinecone so I’m happy to get in finally!

  8. Jennifer M.

How do you find out if you got in?

  9. Jennifer M

    Yay! Finally got in! ๐Ÿ™‚

  10. Carissa

I got accepted months ago but have not received anything! ๐Ÿ™

  11. Brooke T.

Just a heads up! Pinecone Research only allows one membership/person per household. If more than one membership per household is used and they find out, both accounts can be closed/disqualified and all your points are gone. ๐Ÿ™ I want to sign up but my dad is already a member and has a lot of points (he actually just for the entire Ninja Blender system from them with ALL the accessories for less than the equivalent of $65 in points!!!!) , so I don’t want to put that at risk…

  12. Shannon

I signed up & it said I’d get an email where I could complete more questions to determine if I qualify. I never received that email. Any idea how long it takes to receive the email from pinecone to finish signing up?

    • ruth

I got that EMAIL within a two min.

    • minxiemoon

I got my e-mail within a couple minutes & just completed it. Good Luck!

    • Lisa

My email came quickly but I had to find it in my spam box

  13. Diane

questions assigned, usually ending in 3001, are not sent incentive. You will not get paid for these.

  14. Jamie

FYI, if you sign up and you never hear anything it might be because they are looking for members who fit certain criteria. I have 4 kids from 1-16, am married, have an annual income of $75-100k and am 34. They send me all kinds of surveys…

  15. agata

I signed up like 2 months ago. I have $40 in my account:) I get a survey like every 2 days recently. I fill them out as soon as I can. I love this site!

  16. Mariar

Has anyonyone heard of e-rewards opinion pannel? Do you guys think this is legit?

    • Gretchen

Yes, I do this one. It takes a little longer to rack up points. You have to be very careful how you answer questions so that you qualify for each survey. But I earn a $25 Amazon every Quarter. It’s a little tedious and not the most mobile friendly, but it is legit!

      • Mariar

Thank you for your response Gretchen! I’m going to join and hopefully make some money!

  17. Micheal King

This guy has been accepted the last time you posted it! have been doing surveys about every 2 days.

  18. Melissa J

    I love Pinecone so far!

I have only been a member since the beginning of September of this year. I actually only joined because I read one of the posts Colin made around that time.

I’ve have a very positive experience so far. I get about 1-2 surveys a week – sometimes 1-2 every few days.

I have 3,000 points currently. I wish I could figure out how to cash these outs for PayPal payment and not for items. I need the cash for Holiday shopping :/). I have even received 2 products to test out – one item was food that I loved!

Sometimes the surveys can be a bit long, but for the most part they are brief and very enjoyable. I like having a say and imput to new products on or coming on the market. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • mc

You just go to Featured Awards after clicked redeem link. In the dropdown menu, there is a Cash Option.
For Paypal option, you have to be qualified and they will send you email after you cash out several checks.

  19. Sara

I submitted the other week and never heard a thing. :/

  20. Amanda

I’ve been a member of Pinecone before and I got kicked out (several years ago) because I stopped doing surveys. My mom has been in for a long time now. I filled out the app again and got accepted. Done one survey so far. We live in different houses so it won’t be a problem. They do send products out sometimes to try depending on your household answers. Overall it’s a good site.

  21. Heather

    Didn’t qualify again ๐Ÿ™

  22. kali

This site isnt really worth it unless you have extreme patience.

  23. Shannon

Signed up yesterday. Still no follow up email. Nothing in junk mail. Nothing in my trash folder. After hearing all of the negative comments above, maybe that’s a blessing in disguise.

  24. Dawn

I never qualify for these survey sites. I am a 47 year-old- white female with some college education and five people living in my home. I don’t know if I am too average or not average enough. Any thoughts?

  25. Ronell Whitaker

I was on here YEARS ago and got off. Glad they are open again!
