I loooove white chocolate mochas but haven’t ever tried any of these…anyone who shares my love for white chocolate mochas care to recommend one of these?

    • B

I love white chocolate mochas too! Caramel brรปlรฉe isn’t bad. Didn’t like gingerbread or just peppermint mocha.

      • Em

        Thanks!!

    • Jennifer

omg Carmel Burlee Latte!!! it’s my absolute favorite of all year!!!!!

    • Amanda

You can get a white peppermint mocha and they are delicious! My favorite drink hands down.

    • April

Gingerbread and I love white mochas! Peppermint yucky.

    • Canada Mom

I like white mocha with peppermint. They can actually make that year round though it’s my go-to holiday hot drink. It’s also good as a frappuccino.

    • Wendy

I love white mocha too! To get bogo, I get the iced peppermint WHITE mocha with half of the peppermint pumps. The brรปlรฉe is also good and the new chestnut praline is good and not super sweet.

    Should I or shouldn’t I?

    • Bob

For Starbucks…you should! At least once. ๐Ÿ˜€

  4. Madeline

How do we know which ones are participating?

  5. kq

A little flyer I received from the Starbucks at my Target that advertised this deal, mentioned ‘try our new chesnut praline latte’. Hopefully this flavor will be on special as well as it sounds good!

    • JA

That’s the one I want. I can’t wait to try something new!

      • Oharra

A barista made a sample of it at target for me the other day, it is delicious!!!! It’s pretty sweet, but is a good sweet treat. Yum!

    • Becky

That new drink is so good. It will be my new favorite for sure!

Although I do love Starbucks but I just have to tell y’all they throw away all their food each night. I know it doesn’t sound like much but they could donate it to someone needy like a local shelter or old folks home. Maybe if this gets around they will start. Especially this time of year I hate to see someone go hungry when they are tossing perfectly good food in the trash can.

    • gpyen

The starbucks in my town donates all of their leftover food to the senior center (and they have since they opened several years ago).

    • SLS

Each Starbucks store is different. When I worked at one in NY 15 years ago we donated our leftover food each night. If the one near you doesn’t donate, perhaps you could try to connect them with an organization in your area who would like teh donations?

Upsetting but a lot of places throw away food rather than giving it away.

    • Nailsinthecityy

Unfortunately, that’s a very common practice. Most places that sell ready-made food end up throwing out a great deal of it at the end of the day. Fast food chains, convenience stores, super markets, coffeehouses… Tim Hortons actually throws out their entire inventory 2x a day, in order to have fresh food / goods for their customers. Plus lets not forget about the biggest culprit of all, grocery stores. We all know there’s a HUGE difference between expiration and a sell-by date. But because of legality, they throw away a ton of edible food.
The problem is that the places that DO donate ready-to-eat food take a huge risk. If anyone is to get sick from eating “stale/expired” food, they could potentially have a lawsuit on their hands. It’s a sad situation, because if every single one of these places did donate instead of throwing out, can you imagine how many more people we could feed? I guess no good dead goes unpunished now days.

    • Liz

My Starbucks gives all of the leftover food to a homeless shelter in town! ๐Ÿ™‚ I know the guy who transports it from Starbucks to the shelter each day.

    • Pinki

One of my local Starbucks donates food to a mental health crisis respite center. Starbucks is good about donating to nonprofit agencies.

  7. Jennifer

I had a white chocolate peppermint mocha today. Yummy

  8. Layla

I did not like the peppermint mocha at all. Anyone tried the gingerbread or creme brรปlรฉe?

    • Nydia

      I LOVE the gingerbread!

    • Mel b

      Creme brรปlรฉe was excellent!

    • Brynne

LOVE the caramel brรปlรฉe latte. It’s my favorite. I get them to fake the funk after Christmas to make me one when they don’t have it anymore. Haha

    • Layla

Thanks for all the suggestions! Going to give the creme brรปlรฉe latte a try ๐Ÿ™‚

  9. Nl

This is the reminder? How did I miss the first post?! Lol

  10. Allie

I received an email from Starbucks offering 25% off a holiday food item.

Offer valid 11/12/14 โ€“ 11/17/14. Holiday food items includes Peppermint Cake Pop, Cranberry Bliss Bar, Pecan Tart, Snowman Cookie, Holiday Gingerbread Loaf & Holiday Turkey & Stuffing Panini!

  11. Kay

Does anyone know if i could get an iced latte with this deal?

    • SLS

I’m sure you can get an iced version of the holiday drinks they offer.

    • Ashley

I believe you can make any drink iced. I know I did it last year with the b1g1.

  12. Krista

Does anyone know if you can do this deal with a free reward drink… Kind of doubt it, but I have a reward one and I would love it if I could double down!

  13. Jackie

Anyone know if you can combine this with your free birthday drink?

    • Michelle

I was able to do that during their last B1G1. I actually got 2 for free!

  14. Brittany

No hot chocolates for us non- coffee drinkers ???

    • Heidi

Ask for a mocha with no espresso in it! ๐Ÿ˜‰

    • bethany

You can get ANYTHING cream based rather than coffee based. Yummy!!

      • MommySpendsLess

Woah, this is eye opening! (I’m a die-hard unsweetened iced tea drinker but I haven’t jumped on the coffee bandwagon yet.) Please explain ๐Ÿ™‚ So most of your beverage can be warm cream (milk?) with the flavorings, syrups, whipped cream, etc on top? Almost like a warm milkshake? And caffeine free so my 5yo can have some too?

        • Liza

Yes almost anything can be made with no espresso. My son love warm milk with vanilla and whip cream and my daughter loves their cream based frappacinos.

  15. Alison

Just FYI, if you have a synced AMEX card and you’re on twitter, you can tweet the hashtag #AmexStarbucks to receive a $5 statement credit on a $10 or more purchase at the Starbucks store online. It works on gift cards so a $10 gift card for $5!

    • Jean

      Thanks for the info., Alison.

  16. pharmchick

awesome! i just got an email for 25% any holiday treat item so that will be great with the bogof drinks!

  17. Sarah

Oh my goodness, this is a dangerous thing to know. I love the Creme Brulee (spelling? haha) Lattes. Soooo good. The tall is about $4 where I live, check out my site to learn how to make $5 starbucks card tonight so you can turn your B1G1 into B0G2. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  18. jhnicole

Thanks and love that brittany asked for non cofeee drinkers.also thank you heidi

    • Heidi

      Of course!

  19. Katherine

Oh thank you for the reminder! I love the peppermint mochas and will buy a hot one to drink immediately then an iced one to put in the fridge for later in the evening (aka, after kids are in bed ๐Ÿ˜‰ )

    • Kc

Kathrine thanks for that great idea:)

  20. Christine

Why can’t they do this in the morning ??? I’m there in between 6 am and 6:15 on my way to work .. i would love to try something new for free

  21. Heidi

I always drink one, out the second one in the fridge right away and heat up the next morning. Taste the same? No…. But decent and free! Or… I get an iced one as my second, with no ice. Just add your own the next day!

  22. Kathleen

Thanks for posting Collin! The only time of year I can afford to splurge on Starbucks for my daughter and I is during these BOGO deals!

  23. Amandaonfire25

If you are a star rewards member you have tried one not released yet which is the chestnut praline latte.. So good and addictive!

  24. Kate

They let us have any of the seasonal hot chocolates as part of the deal too. We tried the peppermint white chocolate. It was o.k.

  25. tim
