It costs $3 to have 24 pencils shipped to your door. If you need mechanical pencils, yes, this is a good deal. They cost about $6 at walmart.

I wonder how these compare to the pencils available at B2S sales (ie: penny deals, 25cents per pack, etc)?
My son refuses to use any more of the Papermate pencils, which are usually the brand that is on sale cheap at Walgreens, etc, because they break too easily. He loves the Bic. I stock up at back to school time for around $0.50-$1.00/12 pack with coupons. If you need pencils now, I think this is a good deal.
