Amazon Prime Members Only: VIZIO 55-Inch 1080p Smart LED HDTV Only $528 Shipped (Lowest Price!)
In the market for a TV? Well, again… I just want to reiterate that I don’t know much about TV deals, but this Amazon deal I am going to share appears to be a great one! Currently, you can head here where this VIZIO E550i-B2 55-Inch 1080p Smart LED HDTV is priced at $648 (reg. $679.99!). PLUS – add this to you cart and start the checkout process, on the final order page there will be another deduction IF you are an Amazon Prime member of $120 – bringing the cost of the TV down to only $528 shipped!
As a price comparison, this same TV is going for $648 on Walmart.com.
(Thanks, Cindy!)
If you have a Sam’s Club nearby, this is the same price.
Scored a 63 on consumer reports for blurred motion and insufficient sound. Also, it mentioned a limited viewing angle.
most flat screens have insufficient sound, it’s why they make 100 different sound bars. I own a 7 year old vizio and a 2 year old vizio and we love them, are impressed by the quality and longevity
We also own a 7 year old Vizio and love it!
They are giving discounts on almost every tv, so if there is a different one you like, check and see! I wanted a little bit bigger one and when I added it to my cart it took off more than $200!!
Which one did you get Priscilla? Is there a way to tell how much it will be if you don’t have a Prime membership? Trying to decide if we should sign up for a trial of Prime. We are looking for a 60in Vizio. Thanks!
I always sign up for Prime a month before Xmas to get the 2 day shipping for holiday deals then cancel it!
Don’t be deterred by poor sound ratings. shop4mybabies is right. The biggest drawback to flat screens is the sound. The technology isn’t quite there yet for speakers that can fit in the flat screen and produce the sound similar to a home theater system. Every flat screen I own has external speaker systems or sound bars. What you should look at is its pixel resolution (1080 vs 720).
also agree! We purchased all our tvs at best buy (customer service is awesome at our local best buys) and even the salesman said they shouldn’t even bother putting speakers on tvs anymore because the sound is always bad.
The sales tax amount killed the deal for me.
Is it worth paying for the extended warranties that amazon offers?
Technically, no. Most credit card companies have extended warranties when u purchase items using their card. Electronics/appliances nowadays are considered throwaways. $200 tv hopefully will last a few years, breaks down and get a new $200 one. Consumer reports always says NO. I did take out a 5 year warranty via SquareTrade for my washer/dryer for $120. Couldn’t beat the price of the warranty vs the $2000K that I paid for machines. Check out Square Trade for warranty prices and email them for a % off code or u can buy one Ebay for a few $$.
Costco has the M series 240 hz model for $679
I have prime! Is this just for this TV, Vizio Tvs, or other brands?
It is sold out now.
