I paid $100 for a Canon laser printer last year around this time. I’m still on the original toner which cost me $86. I am an Ebay seller. I print tons of shipping labels and lots of coupons. When I had an injket I was going through a $25 cartridge every 2 weeks or so. I wouldn’t personally recommend an inkjet for someone who prints a lot. If you don’t print much, it’s probably ok.
I have this printer and paid $89 for it last year. It’s pretty amazing. It will print wirelessly from your iPad or iphone. It scans wirelessly to my laptop. If you want, let me know and I’ll point you to a GREAT resource for affordable ink refills. I pay about $10 for 6-13 months of ink. Be aware that some coupon sites won’t let you print from your iPad. 🙂

We had this printer. It seemed to go through the expensive ink so quickly! Possibly, I print too many coupons. After about 18 months it randomly started turning off during prints. We replaced it with a laserjet.
I did print wirelessly from my macbook without problems.

Cannon MF4770 laser jet. We paid $89 at best buy. It has a low ink setting that prints just fine for coupons and makes toner last forever!
I’m hoping this is a good printer. I just ordered it. I had an HP photosmart 7520 that only lasted a year and cost much more than this. I didn’t use a lot of the features on the HP so I thought I would try the Canon this time.
What kind of ink does this printer use? Is the ink expensive?

Is this a good (or possibly hot price) for a printer that can print scan copy AND fax with a relatively cheap or decent ink price ? I need one that can fax since my fax machine doesn’t fax clearly and is on the edge of giving up lol.
What is a good printer for coupons? I don’t want to have to replace ink every few months.
I bought this just now for printing coupons because you can choose to print in black and white only and if you run out of color ink you can still print in black and white without having to replace the color cartridges.Just leave them in there ,and print black and white forever.

We replaced our Canon printer for HP. It seems like you can get good deals on Canon printers but the ink is more expensive. Just a thought…
