Here’s a cool tip – If you have cablevision for internet, you can request a wireless router from them – for free! They will maintain it, and replace if needed. My wireless router started to have issues, and I was on the phone with Cablevision since I thought it was the internet service acting up. Once they said it was my wireless router, I asked if they sold new ones by any chance. The rep told me he was glad I asked, since they typically are not supposed to offer them to customers, as they are offered upon request only. Yay! What a savings, and I don’t have to worry about Cablevision telling me “maybe it’s your router” whenever an issue comes up – anymore.
