I’ve found that the Dollar Store non-ouchless elastics (the ones with the crimped metal piece that holds the elastic ends together) work better than the ouchless Goody elastics. For some reason, they stretch out at the point where they are glued and it’s hard to get a tight ponytail. The cheapie ones last longer before stretching out.
