I Need a good deal on rain boots!!

    • Angie

I always buy Land’s End snow pants, jacket, gloves and boots for my kids since I love the matching look. This year I did not buy these boots because I got too tired of my kids always having wet feet. I would have to put these by a heater every night to dry them out–which does NOT make a room smell good!! My kids are not at “matchy” this year, but their feet are dry since I looked for water proof winter boots. Land’s End does not sell any but I got some on Amazon. This lack of water proofing might not bother others but we live in WI wet feet is not good!

      • Rachel

Thank you for posting this. I live in WI too so we NEED our boots to be waterproof!

      • Leah

That’s so funny since LE is based out of Wisconsin. I remember growing up with LE boots and always having wet feet too. Now that Lands End is independent from Sears, they should start having better quality boots.

      • Amp

I experinced the same issue with my son’s boots last winter. Here in MN cold I can not let him stay with wet socks escecially in school so I returned these. I wondered the same thing.. they are from mid west, why wont they test their products here first?

    • Jen

I buy these every year for the last 6 years, we live in Chicago and I have never had a pair leak or my kids feet get wet. Weird.

      • Apryl

Thanks Jen for posting. I just bought these snow boots about a week ago. I hope they work for us to. 🙂

How do i go through the link

      • patty

You should be able to click on it. Thanks!

        • katie

          I used your link. Thanks

  3. Laurie

I clicked on one of the links above and I got 25 dollars off a 75 dollar purchase — thank you! Maybe I got 25 since I’ve never ordered off that site before.
I got 4 pairs of boots for my 2 boys for this year and a higher size for next year – finally I will be prepared for the snow!

  4. Athena

Can someone help me….My son is 1 and he is a size 5 1/2. I want to get him a 6. Would this be under the 2T-4T section or the Little Kid/Big Kid?

    • Laurie

Correct – under the 2T-4T section

      • Athena

        Thanks! That’s what I thought! 🙂

  5. Natasha

I was also able to use my syw rewards towards this purchase! I had $4 in surprise points so i got 2 pair @ just $14.66 each! 🙂

    • Cassandane

All of my SYW rewards exclude Land’s End. It’s really the only thing I buy at Sears :/

  6. patty

I live in Florida, so I can’t vouch for the rain boots 🙂 but I will say I get rash guards and swimsuits for the entire family from lands end every year! And they have an awesome return policy!

  7. Rebe

I am on the fence. We LOVE LE in this house and my kids and I all have LE snow boots but…they were bought second hand and they are awesome, but reading the reviews seems as if LE have decreased the quality of their boots and now people are complaining that they are no longer waterproof. I dont get it, how could you make snow boots that are not waterproof? 🙁

    • Ketsy

I bought some for my daughter to travel this Christmas. I paid retail minus points and still think they are worth it. They are warm and waterproof. It’s mainly an user issue. If snow gets thru the top of the boot inside your leg and down, then of course it will melt and wet your socks. 😉

Sign up for the kmart/sears shopyourway, if you haven’t already and make sure to link it to your LE account. You can use the points there. HTH

Here’s my link if you haven’t signed up yet. It gives you $20 off $75 already applied at check out.

      • Svitlana

Ketsy is right. This is how kids play and get snow inside of the boot. Put pens over the boot, not inside;-)

    • Jen

Like I said above in a comment. I have 2 kids, we live in Chicago and I have bought these used and brand new and have never had them leak or my kids feet get wet. My kids are 7 and 10 and it’s the only snow boots I will buy. Actually, I am mad that they are on sale I bit the bullet and bought them before winter for $40 bucks 🙂 This is a great deal and if you don’t like them or they leak, they will take them back. Good customer service and returns.

      • Jessica

Both sides have a point. It is not necessarily a waterproof issue as much as the top of the boot let’s in snow because it becomes too wide because the velcro on both sides on the boot comes undone frequently. That’s what I’ve found to be true with my kids. You have to strap them in tight and hope for the best. If they come undone – wet feet.

        • Jessica

BTW lands end is really good about returns. If they don’t work out just ship them back or take them to a Sears store for a refund.

Thanks for the code! Where did you find this code? Is it a referral code? However you got it, thanks so much!

Thank you! Just ordered 2 sets of snow flurry boots, 2 sets of stormer gloves, and a hair band for $53.87 shipped. I chose to make the largest set of boots and gloves gender-neutral in color, so they will get to be worn by son in a couple of years!

Just wanted to let everyone know. I have never tried the boots shown in the post, but we live in Michigan can and my girls have worn these:

    https://www.landsend.com/pp/StylePage-432722_AG.html?CM_MERCH=Shopping_Cart

for a few years now. They are awesome. with the code below the ones i just got for next year were $18.62 so not much more than those in the post. My girls can play outside in our hard west michigan winters for forever and never whine about cold or wet feet. Plus I have handed them down since they hold up so well 😀 Hope this helps someone! FYI also just ordered their snow pants for the first time. Reviews looked good. Anyone bought them before? The ones from Target my daughter is using currently are already ripped 🙁

If someone would like to use my code it would be awesome!

Their snow pants are great! I live in MI so we know snow here and they’ve held up through both my boys, sometimes for more than a year! The cheap ones just aren’t worth it…
