Awesome find!!👍 I appreciate all you do!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks, Tanya! And, you’re so welcome! 🙂

what does IRISH SPRING SINGNATURE means?? it is something new?? will they take this coupon on the regular one. please help! TIA

    • mel

Irish Spring SIGNATURE is a new line. The coupon will work on the Signature bars or body wash or Irish Spring GEAR body wash. It is not valid on regular Irish Spring.

  3. Yvonne

Cvs has the spring gear body wash on clearance for $2.24. I just bought two using two manufacturer coupons. Surprisingly, it generates $2 ECB for buying two. So, moneymaking of $1.52.

    • Paul

Thanks a lot. They were $2.39, at my local store. Even including the $0.45 in taxes, getting them at CVS made buying two a $0.77 moneymaker. A better deal than getting them, at the slightly cheaper price, at Walgreens.

By the way, the variety my store has on clearance is the Exfoliating Clean with volcanic minerals.

  4. bethwalgreens

Irish spring body wash will be buy 1 get 1 free! Starting next week. If you spot these varieties on clearance you would only be paying $0.29 for two!

  5. David

Is the “Available at Walmart” logo printing on the Irish Spring coupons likely to cause any problems?

    • mel

Depends! My local Walgreens has started pitching a fit with logo’d coupons, so I don’t bother shopping there much.

  6. shana

I just went to my walgreens in columbus ohio and the batteries nor the irish spring was on sale. I did, however get trix cereal for .99 cents. General mills was on sale, i printed the coupon from betty crocker and was only able to get trix. But i saved money!

    • David

Hey Shana, check out one of the weekly flyers from your Walgreens – the batteries should be on the front page. There was no sign indicating that they’re on sale at my Walgreens either, but they rang up at the correct sale price and gave the Balance Rewards despite that.

The Gear coupon has been problematic at a few different stores for me, even ones that typically take the ones with Walmart logo. It has beeped every time I’ve tried to use it.

    • paula

      Same here:(

I have a question…DO you guys carry all of your coupons with you when you go shopping? even though when I spot some on clearance like the Irish Spring product, I won’t notice the $2/1 coupon.. Do you use Collin’s coupon database at stores when you find some on sale? I just started couponing last summer.

    • BAXTER

I believe you answered my previous question! I’m so glad you started couponing it’s amazing! I don’t cut my inserts, I keep them in a file folder. So when I am in the store and see a good clearance price, I use the database to look for the coupon! Hope this helped:)

      • Sunshine

I keep my coupon inserts together in a coupon bag (along w extra diaper and snacks 🙂 ) sometimes i only take my little coupon folder but sure enough i spot something that would be a bargain!!…. And i don’t have the coupon w /me 😖.

        • breadhead

Thank you for your reply, Sunshine!! I appreciate it! Yeah, that is what I do… bring some coupons that I think that would be good, but then I regret that I didn’t bring my coupon book with me. 🙁 You must be busy all day! Thanks again!

      • breadhead

Thank you for taking your time to reply, Baxter! Yes, that is me. 🙂 Yeah, that is amazing! I used to spend $180 for grocery shopping ( including household and socks, underwear, dog and bird food etc..) every weekend. Now, around $100 for all.
Thanks again. I will use the database as long as possible!

    • Happymama

I only carry high value and baby coupons (still have one in diapers lol). I never cut coupons until the day I shop. I find with sites like Collin’s, you can find out the best deals without carrying around all your coupons. I like to make a list, inducing how many of each I’m buying, and I put them in an envelope. With a little preparation, grocery shopping can be painless – even with a toddler! lol.

      • breadhead

Thank you for your reply, Happymama!! I can’t imagine how busy you day is with your toddler !? Thanks for your idea. Good idea! I will copy yours. 🙂 Thanks! I make a grocery shopping list and weekly menu including my family’s snack/lunch, but they are not organized. LOL Thanks again!

    • familyhandshake

I started a coupon box but instead of organizing it by category I organize it in alphabetical order. I make like folder index card sized folders out of cardstock and label them a-z and then one that says free. I also have a purse sized accordion file where I put my store coupons and coupons I am using for a pre planned out trip. But I always try to cut them out Sunday or Monday. I usually only go shopping once a week.

      • breadhead

Thank you for your reply, gamilyhandshake!! I organize by category, but I can’t remember well.. 🙁 Yours is very organized and impressive. I don’t know if I can do like yours because I am clumsy LOL I am going to learn your way. That will save more money.

Thank you for all your help folks! And thank you for Collin that giving us such a space to figure out things. What a great site!

        • mel

I have a large binder that I use as my storage for clipped coupons (organized by Category. I’ve been using this method for so long, I have it memorized and I know what coupons I have!)
I also have a smaller organizer I keep in my purse (organized by Stores https://www.meadorganizher.com/products/meal-planning/shopping-companion ).
As I write deals down, I pull coupons from my binder and stick them in the appropriate store slot. I also keep some high value and printables in the slots before the shopping list. Mine has a plastic pouch in the front, that I keep restaurant & other store coupons (Like JCP, Macy’s, etc)
My binder stays in my car, since I try to keep my trips on the short side! I go in, get what I have on my list and get out. But there have been times I’ve stumbled across a good clearance, that I go back to my car for the binder. I usually have my mom or sister with me, but when I don’t, I pay for my stuff, then go out to the car for my binder and pull coupons.

I see CVS coupon policy states that they wont accept a manufacturer coupon with another retailers logo on it (Irish Spring Gear Body Wash Coupon for example) BUT does anyone know the exact policy regarding this same thing at Walgreens? I know it is just a marketing thing that Walmart pays for to have this on the coupon BUT I was wondering Walgreens exact coupon policy regarding this since CVS’s policy is NOT to accept it. THANKS!

    • mel

When I inquired on their FB page over the summer when I had an issue, I was told it falls under #5 of their coupon policy ~
‘Competitor’s coupons shall not be accepted by Walgreens.’

But IMHO, using a coupon with another store logo or says redeemable at/available at doesn’t constitute as a “competitor”. To me, a competitor coupon is a coupon that can only be used at the store it was distributed. Like from the Walgreens monthly coupon booklet, I can’t use those coupons at Target, WM, CVS. But I was told any manuf coupon with store logo is a competitor. I think they are full of doo-doo.

  10. melissa

Surprisingly, my coupon printed fine but the Walmart logo did not print, so it looks like a regular manufacturer’s coupon without a logo! Maybe because I am using black ink?
