Haha, not sure we’ll have this stuff in my store in Destin Florida!

    • Laura

LOL I was just thinking that same thing about here in CA. I’ve never seen most of this stuff, didn’t even know it existed! Stuff to melt snow… Who would have thought?! Haha

      • tanyam

I am so jealous of you guys, you have no idea. It’s so freezing here today

        • amanda

here in boston we are six feet in hell and another foot and maybe more. so valentines day is next week for us because hes a plow driver 🙁 and everything will be 50% off wich makes me happy 🙂

          • SoxGirl1029

I’m near Boston too…can’t even find any of this stuff left in the stores at full price let alone clearance lol…I can’t believe we’re getting more tonight

            • Sarah

Love the Sox! Love your user name, mine is soxchamps04!!

      • JA

I’m going to pretend that I’m not so totally jealous of you right now. Windchill of -20 or something just as ungodly here this weekend. It was 17 degrees today and I thought, boy, it’s not too bad out today. I hate winter.

        • Laura

Wow! I can’t even imagine what that would even feel like!! I’m in Northern CA and it was 75 and sunny today! Awesome for Feb! 🙂

          • Heather C

Hi Laura- me too! I’m in Sonoma County. ☺️

          • Vic

            Sac County, here!!!

          • Gretchen

Napa county here! Never seen this stuff at Target before, nor would we need it, but my heart goes out to everyone on the East coast that needs it.

      • Rachel

Same with me in CA…like holy moly, I feel bad for everyone else!

        • Jsturner1

I might be the only one, but I’m
In Ca and wish I was in the snow! It’s way too warm for February!

          • Karen229

Yes, it would be nice to visit our snow. But it’s become old to us. Warm temps would be wonderful right now.

      • CW

It is 39 this morning here in South Florida, I could use a hat. Once you live here about 5 yrs, the clothes you wore in snow are now used when it hits 55 degrees or lower. Not joking! From a native New Englander 🙂

      • Heather C.

Geeezzz…. So so jealous! Northern Indiana is freezing this time of year. If it weren’t for all mine and my husbands family living here, I’d totally move somewhere that stays warm all year round in a heartbeat!

    • shopper

I’m in a hot place and the $1 area does have hand warmers.

    • Caroline

Lol. Same here. I don’t even know what this stuff is. 🙂

    • Linny

In Houston, TX here; I know hot hands and shovels. We use shovels to dig ditches and stuff here and those do not look adequate for that purpose. As for hot hands, I tried them out on a visit to NYC a few weeks ago. It took some doing to figure how to give ’em just enough air to catalyze but not too much to make for fingers freeze in the process. I really doubt if they sell any of those other things here but like others said, very interesting to read about.

    • Stevmon2

Sure wished I lived in Destin! 😊 it’s beautiful there, my family and I went on vacation to destin and Pensacola two years ago and fell in love with atmosphere, views, ocean pretty much everything! Pretty sure there is no use for these type of gadgets over there. Haha.. Have good weekend!

  2. tanyam

We are getting another storm tomorrow here in MA. NOTHING is going on clearance in that department!

    • Pharmchick

Haha I was thinking the same about my store in Maine!

      • Sammy

I’m from maine too! I saw pharm in ur name, r u in pharmacy school in une or bangor

        • Monika

me too :] I go to the Augusta and sometimes Topsham one.

    • Stacey

You never know! Stores like to sell a season ahead.

I remember going in to a store opening once and asking where the long underwear was stocked. The clerk said that they didn’t have any because it was out of season. I gave her a surprised look and looked out the window – it was a blizzard outside! She laughed and said they sell a season ahead. Swim suits were on sale! haha

    • elise

I was thinking they wouldn’t have anything left to even put on clearance.

  3. Sarah

Believe it or not our store in TN had tons of scrapers, some shovels and the hand warmers

  4. Corrine

Ohhhhh! I may be making a trip tomorrow! I am in need of lost of that stuff. Snapped my shovel in half the other day while shoveling… And with -25 wind chill the hand warmers and mitt ice scraper would be nice to have! Lol

  5. meg

I’m in Ohio. I need all that stuff! Record cold coming for Sunday…high of 0…wind chills 20 to 30 below. ((Crying))) lol

    • denise s

I hear ya meg Ohio girl here too! The wind just bites today

  6. jim

can a bunch of people get this stuff and ship it east to the boston area? we are buried LOL

    • Tricia

Id do it but I doubt ups or usps could make it too you ;). Unless we indicated they could open it up and use the enclosed shovels to dig their way to you!

  7. Emily

I looked for stuff in Pittsburgh’s Gibsonia store yesterday b/c I scored some great sled deals last year I couldn’t find anything snow related except a few snow shovels and they were still full price.

  8. zulma

Aww nothing like that here in el paso

  9. Debby

Nothing like this in my store…. I don’t think I have ever used a snow shovel. I’m on the central coast of California … Today was 82…. Hate to say it…. But i have been in my bathing suit for the last three days and already have a tan.🌞👙🌞
Hoping all the best towards everyone that are under all that snow and cold weather. Spring is right around the corner…. 🌷🌷🌷

  10. Eunice

not available here in AZ lol

  11. Niki

Oh man… It’s so cold here my kitty died out side last Sunday , I can hardly breathe the wind and zero below temps catches my breathe, I dreaded walking from the store to my vehicle … I can’t imagine how the homeless is holdin up!! I will be happy when the summer comes!

    • Savvy Shopper

Sorry about your kitty, but why oh why would you leave the poor thing outside to freeze to death? smh

    • Amanda

Pets don’t belong outSide in this kind of weather!

    • Heather C.

Awwww… Sorry to here about your kitty! We use cardboard boxes with straw stuffed in them… with small holes cut in the side, just big enough for our outside cats to squeeze in. Keeps them a little more insulated, and protected from the elements this way.

And some people don’t understand that its okay to have outside pets. Love your pets, and take care of them the best you can. But folks need to remember this- animals are animals, NOT people, and don’t need the same treatment as humans do. I won’t get started on this topic this morning. I could go on and on and on…

      • jessie

It is not ok if you don’t live in a climate they can survive in. They aren’t humans and no one said they are but that doesn’t mean you can abuse them or that you have the right to have a pet if “best you can” means leaving them out in the elements. How is this even a thing?

      • Ashley

It is absolutely not okay to leave an animal outside with out proper shelter and it’s against the law, it’s called animal cruelty.

      • Beth

Humans are actually animals, too. Homo sapiens, part of the primate family.

      • meg

Such a sad statement to make. If people want animals then keep them in the house. Why even have them if you r going to keep them outside? I could go on and on also…..

        • Laura

It’s so scary that people like these have pets. What is the point of having a pet if you just keep them outside?? I hope this woman never has a pet again…

  12. Tori

Same issue here in Bufalo, NY. You’re lucky if you can even find the stuff at full price much less on sale. We have lots of empty shelves and when a shipment comes in you have to be right there. That dang white stuff just keeps coming & coming. We’ve had over 2 years worth in one so far with another storm on the way.

I just hope we don’t end the season with the same 7 -8 feet we started with.

  13. Jane

Winters not even half over in Chicago so I don’t think they’ll be clearing winter gear but hoping spring comes soon!

  14. Kimberly

Colorado Springs on north side only had it marked 30% off this evening.

    • Lisa

30% off in the Denver area too.

  15. Cannielle

75 at Norcal today, sonata county to be specific, way to hot and dry that we are all having rashes now.

  16. Karen229

I’m just south of Boston and in serious snowmageddon. I’m sure our Target probably is sold out of the ice melt and ice brushes at this point. No one can keep that stuff on the shelves. It was a perfect winter up until January 26th.

  17. Shauna

They were 70%at my Target last night. It has been unseasonably warm this year in UT so no need for shovels and snow melt.

  18. LaToya

Collin – which Boise store do you shop when you post about your local Target? Milwaukee or Chinden/Eagle (both are Boise) and I do want to get in on this deal.

  19. Dee

Ship the stuff east if you can find it! I had to go on Amazon to order ice melt delivered to the house because there weren’t any stores near us that had any left in stock. (I got free shipping with Prime, got here in two days. Anyone in NE who’s looking for some, might want to consider placing an order. 😉

  20. Emily

Anyone from Minnesota that can confirm these deals? I already went out in the cold (16 below with windchill factored in) once today. Ha ha. I would go for the deicer. My car goes through that stuff this time of year.

    • brendaw

Just came on to post from south of the river….I checked and it was only 30% off. I guess winter is not over for us. Plenty of items in stock on most of those things pictured. I’m waiting a few days and hoping for 50%. I need hand warmers for skiing.

  21. BJ

Wow. That stuff looks totally foreign to me! Honestly, I didn’t even what a snowbrush is. Guess that’s why I pay my sunshine tax here in SoCal. It’ll be mid-80s today. I’ll be at the beach enjoying my vitamin D.

    • meg

You have never seen snow? Lol

  22. jessica

Its 0 degrees in Macomb county Michigan right now. At least its not in the negative! Lol
