  They’re a nice basic set for someone who doesn’t cook much. I cook everyday and my knives are an extension of my hands and I personally don’t like the weight of these or their feel in my hand but when I got my first set of knives many years ago it was a Chicago Cutlery set and I had no complaints then.

   We have Chicago Cutlery (not this line) and are very happy. I believe they come with a lifetime guarantee and so far we’ve had them about 7 years and they work great.
