I love Taste of Home, and have had subscriptions to their magazines in the past and have purchased their hardback cookbooks, but stopped buying anything from them because when my subscription was over, they essentially harassed me to renew. They repeatedly sent me mail that required me to check a box saying that I didn’t want to renew, put a stamp on it, and mail it back, or they were going to automatically charge my credit card on my behalf. Even after checking a dozen boxes and returning mail to them, they STILL charged my credit card for a renewal, and it was a fight to get them to refund my money. I had a similar problem with ordering cookbooks from them – they ran out of stock for a couple that I had ordered and paid for online, and substituted duplicates of others that I had ordered, so that instead of 4 different cookbooks, I received 2 copies of 2 cookbooks, and they refused to refund my money or send me the correct books, or even to send me different replacements. Beware!
