Is this good to loose weight?
A lot of the new weight loss programs being offered are just glorified protein shakes used as a meal replacement. So in that sense, yes it can help. It can also make you gain weight if you’re not using it as a meal replacement, or for its intended use as an addition to a good exercise program to fuel muscle growth and recovery. Hope that helps.
I don’t think it’s for weight loss. athletes use it to help build muscle. If you take this without working out you will gain weight (the wrong kind) it’s meant to build muscle.

A warning about using VitaminShoppe: I placed my order with them and then realized I had selected the wrong flavor. To my surprise I couldn’t find an option to cancel my order. After searching their FAQ, I discovered that once an order is placed you CANNOT CANCEL it. I immediately submitted a support ticket and as their offices were closed I waited to call them the next day. The customer rep that took my call informed me that there is no way for them to cancel my order even though it had not shipped. My advice AVOID Vitamin Shoppe, I know I will be.
Poor quality protein – look at the ingredients: Protein Blend (Whey Protein Isolate, Whey Protein Concentrate, Whey Peptides), Cocoa, Artificial Flavor, Lecithin, Acesulfame Potassium.
Look for an isolate only powder. the concentrate is junk!!
