For the Hallmark card deal, if I bought two cards this past week and were to by the third one this coming week would I get $3 ECB? I am wondering since last time I only bought two cards and am wondering if this deal will start over or roll into next week.
If you don’t finish the deal today, it will drop off your receipt. There is no carryover since it’s a brand new deal this wk.

You don’t need to link your CVS card to Ibotta. You scan your receipt & upload for credit.
Cvs isn’t a linked store with Ibotta. You need to take a picture of the receipt in the app when redeeming.
Anyone do the 30% off CVS bag with CVS products? The price of the bag was not deducted for me, I received the 30% off but was charged .99 for the bag.
The cashier scanned it and it should up as ‘free’ before I used that 30% Coupon.
I had to go back into to the store to get the bag rung up as free. Same thing happened as your scenario, but they did honor it finally.
I know this isn’t the right place to ask but since I want to use ibotta with my cvs deals this week I thought id ask. When you transfer money from Ibotta, savingstar, and mobisave to paypal, does paypal charge a fee? On pay pals website it says buying is free but selling or receiving payments has a charge. Technically I didn’t sell anything so is there a charge?? Thanks!
it’s free but when you sell something like as a company in order for someone to pay you through PayPal there is a fee but I use PayPal for find&save, topcashback.com, and savinstar and there is never a fee. I use venmo for ibotta and there’s never a fee either and you get a $5 bonus for your first transfer.
The PayPal fees you’re seeing is mainly for an order coming into your end. There is a different way to send money, even as a gift, and the sender can opt to pay the fee – which the apps do.
You won’t get the PP fee taken out of the amount received from an app..the fee taken would show on the transaction in PP.
I’ve been using PP for years and transfered lots from apps, never had a fee taken from app payment.
I haven’t seen the money taken out of the transactions so I was assuming there wasn’t a fee but I didn’t want a surprise bill for any reason. Thanks for your help! And is there a charge to send the money to your bank account? I’m pretty sure there’s not but not sure. This is my first time using paypal. I’m used to checkout 51 and snap where they send you a check.
You have to link your bank acct. I have a totally sep savings acct linked, that I only use for PP. Then I can transfer that money to my main checking acct when I need it.
PP makes 2 very small deposits to the acct, that you verify (mine were like 12 and 30 cents). After the acct has been verified, then you can transfer the PP funds to your bank acct.
and no, there’s no charge to send to your bank!
I linked my bank account but after I transferred it to my bank it never came. Paypal will not help you if you do not receive the payment. they just ignored my emails. I don’t link my bank account anymore. I lost over $100 but never got Paypal to resolve it. They said they sent it and my bank says they didn’t and it wasn’t listed on my statement either. So just a FYI!
Cait, no charge for transferring to a link bank account. However, your PP amount must be at least $1 to transfer.
If you want a check or PP debit card then there is a processing fee.

Yes they do. I just got back about an hour ago from doing my shopping trip.
If your store activates early they will. But you have to be careful, b/c the register will pick the better sale price which might override an ECB deal for the upcoming sales ad. Some stores are nice enough to force print. Unless I know for sure there isn’t an overlap, I stick to shopping on Sunday to avoid confusion!!

The Fine print on $/$$ coupons is limit of one purchase based coupon PER Transaction. Doesn’t matter if one is a storewide coupon and another is a specific department coupon, if you want to use both you must meet each dollar amount, so $39.

I just came back from my CVS and had the most unsuccessful trip 🙁 I have a $10/$40 coupon sent to my card, and I watched the cashier pressed apply but the system didn’t take it off. I was told it’s because my subtotal after coupon was only $35. I thought I only have to meet the $40 mark before coupon? The $5 ecb I handed to the cashier didn’t work also and I’m not sure if she scanned it or not. I only realised after I got home 🙁

At my cvs the snickers deal only takes off 25 cents off for the free one. So not really a good deal as that made them 50 cents each.
My first cvs store just scan the coupon and took $1.19 off two bars. When I went to another CVS, they were only willing to give 25 cents off. I do NOT like to be at the mercy of whoever cashier I get!

Walmart will match the $5 price if you bring the cvs ad, but it won’t be as good of a deal because you won’t get the $3 ECB for CVS
how do i submit the receipt for CVS on savingstar? i cannot find cvs store in there
You need to add the extracard card to Savingstar since its not a receipt scan store. Easiest way to add it is to go to savingstar.com, log in, then click “my account”. A new page opens with a bunch of tabs. Click the one that says Stores. Then you can add your extracare number. But it takes a day or so for it to verify.
The Lumene shown are .5oz day or night creams that are specifically excluded from the coupon — I only realized it when I checked the coupon in the store and compared it to the product
on a better note…. the value packs in my store were all marked 75% off – including the two packs of Cheerios cereal – so combine with the $1 on 2 boxes of Cheerios coupon and score two boxes for $.88 🙂
I regret not reading this comment before. I was so excited they had them in stock at my store, I got 4 and the cashier checked every single coupon and then she pointed it out. I was soooo embarrased! 🙁
I went into CVS today and had a hassle with using a $5/$25 purchase and then my ECBs. I had $26.98 in product but when the supervisor scanned my $5/$25 and then my ECB, it bumped me under $25 he said. Long convoluted story short, he said that I was really only supposed to use the $5/$25 AFTER all coupons, ECB and any other discounts were scanned. I’ve never has that happen and always used ECB after percents or total off coupons. I was so confused. He said they were not supposed to override but that people do that a lot. In the end he overrode it and gave me an extra $5 ECB bc of my troubles. Does anyone know about this???
I’ve been seeing a few stories about this on last week’s post too. I’ve only been receiving the % off coupon, mostly in the mail. When I tried to use it along with a 30% off lotions crt today, the cashier told me I could only use one since he said the 30% would apply to everything in my cart even though they were not lotion. I didn’t want to argue so I just told him to use the mailed one. I don’t know what is going on with the cvs system lately.
In my experience the $/$$ coupons will work with mq but you can’t use any EB to pay for the transaction. It seems as though they don’t work because they are both issued by CVS, I didn’t have the occasion to use any other red box coupons but I assume they will not work with the $/$$ either if the total drops below the amount specified.
I had similar experience today. My $10/$40 coupon didn’t work even though my cashier pressed apply right in front of me. I was told by the store manager that the $40 mark should be reached AFTER all the coupons while my subtotal was only $35. And she also told me they used to be able to over ride but now with the new system, they can’t do anything.
I had an issue last wk where my subtotal dropped under $40 after q’s & ecb’s that the $10 off got kicked out. Cashier & manager said $/$$ have to be applied after all coupons & discounts. I was like Extrabucks are payment and should not interfere with a $/$$? They had no clue, just that “it’s the way it is now”.
That’s exactly how I was told. I said the same about the ECB are like cash….weird.

I was so happy to see my $10 ECB email from my very first advisor panel survey! Then my CVS would not take it. She wouldn’t even try to scan it. She said it was not the real CVS logo and must be from some other survey company and that it was not valid. The manager agreed. 🙁
Wow. Do you have a smartphone? If so, pull the email up, as it comes from CVS, thanking your for your participating in the survey. Maybe bookmark https://cvs.opinioninsight.com/ on your phone, then pull it up to show the manager it’s right from CVS and says you get Extrabucks for participating.
If they still won’t take it, call CS in the store, explain you have EB from CVS advisor panel and the manager is refusing it. Usually they’ll get on another line to call the store to set the manager straight.
