A word of caution when using the 1.00 off 3 Old El Paso coupon. I was trying to use it at my local Dollar Tree (yes, 2 of my Dollar Tree stores have those EXACT rice bowls) But my cashier informed that I couldn’t use that coupon..anything in a “bowl” is considered a soup item for that particular coupon. (she coupons a lot too and says it doesn’t work the bowls) so proceed with caution. I use those on BOGO taco mixes. Paid 1.67 for six taco mixes with that coupon at my local Harveys on Tuesday. Whoohoo!
That is ridiculous. That is not soup for petes sake! I have used it before on the bowls and it worked fine.
I know Meg she gave me a 30 minute lecture on it. I kept saying “how is rice with no water a soup?” I guess we will write that one off as a “funny coupon moment” because I was standing there thinking…this is the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard! hehe but I smiled and nodded 🙂
