Store/Restaurant Deals:

Elder-Beerman: Tip from reader Melony – “I don’t know if this is just in my area but Elder-Beerman sent me coupons for $100 worth of free stuff! I got a coupon for $50 off $50 or more purchase (Ladies, Men’s, Kids Apparel), $35 off $35 or more purchase (Accessories and Shoes), $15 off $15 or more in cosmetic/fragrances. Every coupon excludes clearance. The coupons are valid from May 8-May 17th.”

Starbucks: Tip from reader Robyn – “In addition to yesterday’s Starbucks drink email offers, I also just received 50% off a breakfast sandwich! Maybe others readers received similar deals too.”

Publix: Tip from reader Mary – “Publix has Breyer’s Gelato on sale right now for $3.49 (usually $4.99 or $5.99 I think?). On top of that, they have a coupon in their in-store flyer for $1.50 off. And all the stores I went to in my area also had $1 off manufacturers coupon in the aisle by the product as well (not sure if there are any printable coupons available online). Final price of $0.99!”

Kroger: Tip from Alexandra – “Was just checking my email and I received one from Kroger with the subject line “Your 2 free product coupons have arrived from Kroger”. Inside there was a Kroger card coupon for FREE Snuggle fabric softner sheets and for FREE Clorox disinfecting wipes! As well as $2/$10 battery purchase and $0.75/$3 lunchmeat purchase! When I logged into my kroger account to load them to my card, the tab on the left they were located under was titled “Best-customer bonus. “

Meijer: Mperks members can find 5 free 4×6 prints (good until 5/9/2015).

For the Publix gelato deal, there is also a $3/3 coupon from the Sunday paper, SS. It’s right on the cover.

Off Topic… I finally got my first survey for cvs panel a few weeks ago and completed it. It said I would receive my extra bucks on or before may 7. My question is do they email it, or do I go to cvs red machine and scan my card and it’ll print out?

    • smellyann

      They email it, Amy.

I finally received my survey Extrabucks today – via email. Maybe yours will arrive shortly.

Off topic…not sure where I can put this where it will be seen. I had the Paypal offer of $15 off $15 for 1-800-flowers. I ordered 3 cookie cards, as suggested. It has cost me SO much time and stress, and has been nothing but a headache! I was charged the whole $15. I called PayPal, they said to wait 24 hours, and see if when it is processed, the charge comes off. I waited a day. Then contacted Cheryl’s cookie co. This was the response I was given:

“Thank you for contacting Cheryl’s. Your business and order is important to us.

The $15.00 coupon from Paypal is only applicable on 1 800 FLOWERS orders. Promotional codes or coupons are also not applicable to gift items that are on sale, our $5 cookie greeting cards, and our samplers.

We are very sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.”

I then asked to cancel the order, and she claims that 2 of them are already being shipped out (though Friday, May 15 was the selected delivery date).

Has any one had this experience?? Please help, your suggestions our greatly appreciated.

    – thanks
