Works great on a kid’s tote, diaper bag, or backpack also. Ebates gives some percentage back on shutterfly also.

I agree!!! ordered one for my sisters and gave it to them as key chains they never suspected it was a pet tag lol

What did u put on the tag for your kids? I’m thinking it’d be good for his backpack for preschool.
      his name only?

      • Visitor3

Depends on how much privacy you want or what the school requires. I did photo, first name, and my cell phone number.

I ordered one of these awhile ago and love it! So cute and my dog always get compliments on it! ๐Ÿ™‚

mine turned into trash 5 minutes after i put in my dog’s collar.. terrible quality!! he tried to take it off and bit a few times.. the ink completely came off, can’t read anything anymore. What is the point??? Just go to petsmart and pay 10 dollars for a tag that is going to last for years, instead of throwing money in the trash with this company. Terrible customer service too.. e-mail them 3 weeks ago, two times and never got a answer back.. but it’s ok, my friends all know to never order anything from this store.

I’m so sorry you feel this way…I absolutely love shutterfly and if I ever have a problem with something (which is rare) their customer service is the best!!! Hope your day gets better!! ๐Ÿ˜„

I love shutterfly as well! Awesome products and great customer service when you CALL! Just as any unsatisfied customer should do!

I agree with you about the quality. I can’t mess my dogs pet smart tag at all. I needed an update on the number so ordered one from shutterfly and mine came blurt. I had never had any bad experience with their customer service when I call. But when you email them, they are worthless. Make sure you call and not email. Hth

I too love shutterfly!!! Any communication I’ve had has been wonderful. I’ve made over 30 books. Only 1 ever had any flaws. They rushed me a replacement and it came quickly and was perfect! Never had any tags but I’ve had books, magnets, prints, mugs, plates, and a water bottle. I don’t know anyone who doesn’t love this company.

GAH! I have a $20off$20 code for Shutterfly that I cannot use since I have already used a “similar” code. The company that issued this gave me 3 total. Anyone want to trade? Its combinable with promotions, except percentage off.

    • Visitor3

Open a second acct with diff email address and you can use.

      • Juli D

I already tried the second account. Goes by credit card billing address.

    • Emily

      When does the $20 expire?

I ordered one of these last time and it’s crappy. It makes so much noise on my dog’s collar I had to take it off, and the picture of him on the tag is crooked. Never got a response from Shutterfly about my complaint either.

I just ordered 2 dog tags. I actually wanted them for our emergency/back up collars that we keep in the cars & emergency bag. Because I wanted to put quite a bit of info on the tag & its only 1″ by 1″, I decided the best thing to do was to type out what I wanted on a piece of paper. I then took a picture of the information and then uploaded to the tag as a picture. I could get a lot more info on it. I put Sam’s name and his parents names (us) & contact numbers on the front. On the back I put his state dog license #, his chip # & phone number…. They look great and look like they’ll hold up for quite some time!

If the quality isn’t so great, these would make good tags to have if you have people that visit and bring their dogs from out of town. Many people have their home numbers on their dog’s tag or don’t have the greatest cell service with them at our house, so keeping tags with local names and numbers helps if they get out of the fence or get loose on the leash.
