You could by 2 packs of bread and use $1/2 coupon plus (2) free mandwhich coupons for better deal all 4 products for $3.
Actually you can’t. That’s applying two coupons to each pack of bread. It’s no different than trying to use a $1/1 and a $0.50/1 coupon on one item.
