Rite Aid Shoppers: Possible 30% Off Shopping Pass Valid 6/5-6/7 Only (Check Inbox)
Calling all Rite Aid shoppers! Check your Inbox for a possible email that contains a 30% off Shopping Pass valid from 6/5-6/7. The email will be coming with the title “30% Off Coupon Inside!” from the email address riteaid@email.riteaid.com. To redeem the offer, just have an associate scan the barcode in your email at the register and the 30% off discount will be applied to your total purchase (some exclusions apply). Pair this coupon with this week’s deals for even more savings!
NOTE: When this Savings Pass is used with a sale priced item, you will receive the lower of the discount price or sale price. This offer is void if your loyalty card already provides a percent off discount of the same value for eligible purchases when scanned.

So it can be use on sale and regular price items?
The register will take the better discount if something’s on sale. Example item x is on sale $1, reg price $1.29. 30% of $1.29 brings the item to $0.90, so that is the price you’ll pay. You won’t get 30% on top of the sale price.
Also keep in mind that if it’s a spend deal, the % will be discounted per item (opposite of cvs where the % comes off at the end), so there’s a chance the % will make you short requiring you to buy another item. Keep a calculator handy!

I stopped going to Rite Aid after they implemented the rewards to be used only on the following day. With this 30% off, I might drop by Rite Aid this weekend after more than a year of not stepping foot at any of their stores.
Keep in mind before you go, if something’s already on sale for 30% or more off the regular price, this will not discount it any lower. Example: product x regular price is $1 but is on sale for 70 cents. You will pay 70 cents for that product even when using the extra 30 off discount because it won’t take it lower than 30 off regular…which is still higher than all other competitors prices. If it were 30% off sale price too, that would be worth a trip
