So….don’t laugh but I bought this as my first sewing machine about 10 years ago! This sewing machine ROCKS! It is super sturdy and user friendly! 10 years later mine still works great and is my only sewing machine. I would highly recommend this to anyone. I taught myself to sew on this- you won’t find a more quality made, easy to use …. As well as so stinking cute sewing machine.

Bought it for my daughter when she was about 5. Much better quality than most kids machines. I don’t know how much of a seamstress she’ll be so it’s the perfect size for small projects and repairs. Janome is a well thought of brand as well (i researched it back then)

omg very tempted, super duper cute. but i just got the brother xl2600i last black friday for only $60 and i love it!!! but omgosh this one is so adorable. if only i have a good excuse for owning two sewing machines =D (i’m a beginner and only need to do very basic sewing)

Works better than some kid machines but we thought it was too light weight and it didn’t have a light. We also had trouble and the thread got jammed up. It did have a nice foot that would help guard little fingers. We returned for a regular brother machine at a similar price. It is much better quality.

I bought 2 of these a few years back for 2 of my daughters. They used them while I was teaching them to sew but they haven’t touched them since. I, on the other hand, use one to sew with regularly. I am very impressed with the quality of this machine that seems marketed for children. It works better than my Huskvarna. I do look forward to the day I can get a more advanced Janome, but for now, I am quite happy to use “my” little Hello Kitty machine.
