Is this not good with sprite as well? I just checked my receipt from yesterday and didn’t get the bonus points.

    • kerryiu

tererzia, you can try calling Customer Service and sometimes they can gift you your missing points. Just have your receipt handy. HTH. I’ve done this many times before.

      • terezia

Thanks! I will try calling. They even had the bonus point tag with the sprite.

  2. kerryiu

I scored this deal yesterday too & was wondering why I was awarded 6000 points! Cashier didn’t know either but gave me a thumbs up! Hooray for Kerry (lol, that’s my name too!)

    • kerryiu

Oops, 😛 I think I just realized you’re thanking me from previous comment regarding above deal. YW Collin 😀

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

        🙂

  3. Kat

Is there any way to see if we’re able to get them on our account without buying them?

  4. Truth

Well this will officially be dead soon….

    • Just Me

Lol I was wondering since tmrw is the earliest I’ll be getting there

  5. todd

    thanks so much!

  6. Maria

I would recommend everyone to not support Cocacola

    • Just Me

Oooo pls explain. I mean besides it being bad for me and eating my bones.

    • momof4

I dont support buying any soda either. ON the other note can anybody explain why my 8000 points are now gone i never redeemed them. When i check my account it only says that points forfeited due to account. Please help Thabks

      • bethwalgreens

If your account is in active for 6 mos. They will delete any points. hth

        • Laura

And that’s why I sync my Fitbit to the Walgreens app. Always active (earning points) even if I don’t shop.

        • momof4

But they should send an email for the reminder. i was out of state hence no walgreens and i just shopped on 23 june after coming back and they forfeitefd the account on 20 june. Not happy with them 🙁

      • greendaisy

I lost 5500 points recently also. I called the rewards customer service and explained I didn’t know the points expired. They were kind enough to reinstate my points.

    • Erin

Yeah can you explain? Have they done something wrong?

      • ashlynn.

Not sure why she said that but I know people are pissed at coke for putting out cans with “isis” on them! Could be what she was talking about

        • Kevin

          Except they are clearly photoshopped.

          • Laura

Exactly. Coke(any company) isn’t dumb enough to do that

        • Also just a name

But there are people named Isis, not the organization ISIS, a neighbor named her daughter Isis like 15yrs ago, she got personalized bottles for her four kids, she couldn’t skip her daughter. Baby name websites show the name to almost be in the top 700 names for the US, previously the top 600s, 575 one year. So if the Coca-Cola was simply printing like the top 1000 names, there the name was. Baby books just define the name as ‘supreme goddess’ so it was popular. At least Coca-Cola didn’t capitalize the letters, the coincidence does not appear intentional.

        They give support to Israel

        • mel

This is right from Coke’s website regarding this —

Rumor: Coca-Cola contributes profits to Israel
          Fact
In an effort to rally Arab boycotts against The Coca-Cola Company and other American companies, many variations of a rumor exist claiming that our company provides financial support to Israel. One widely circulated rumor claims NBC reported that Coca-Cola had announced it would donate four days’ profits to Israel.

These rumors are not true, but have been circulated by ill-informed or ill-intentioned third parties. The Coca-Cola Company is not political, and does not support individual countries, governments or political or religious causes.

The Coca-Cola Company and its bottling partners operate worldwide in more than 200 countries. While The Coca-Cola Company is a global company, the Coca-Cola business in each country is a local business. Coca-Cola beverages are produced, sold and distributed by authorized local bottling partners, who own and operate bottling plants and sales/distribution centers, employing many local citizens.

          • mel

            Also –

Rumor: Boycotting Coca-Cola makes a statement against America and American (foreign) policies
            Fact
The Coca-Cola Company and our products are often regarded as American. But the fact is that The Coca-Cola Company is a truly international company, operating worldwide in more than 200 countries. The Coca-Cola business in each country is a local business. Coca-Cola beverages are produced, sold and distributed by authorized local bottling partners, who own and operate bottling plants and sales/distribution centers, employing one million local citizens – 90% outside the United States, and nearly all of them citizens of other countries.

For example, in the Palestinian Authority, The National Beverage Company, our Company’s authorized local bottling partner, is an independent, privately held company, managed by local Palestinian businesspeople, who operate a Coca-Cola bottling facility located in Ramallah and distribution centers in Gaza, Hebron and Nablus. The National Beverage Company employs 200 local people and generates employment for hundreds of others in related industries. Throughout the Middle East we operate as a local business, run by local people and employing more than 20,000 local people, with local shareowners.

The Coca-Cola business is one of the most diverse organizations in the world, operating across a wide spectrum of economic, political and religious environments. As a business, Coca-Cola has neither the mandate to support nor an interest in supporting individual countries, governments or political or religious causes.

As everybody else, we are deeply touched by the human side of the situation in the Middle East. Given the local nature of our business, we believe that calls for boycotts of our products are not the appropriate way to further any causes, as they primarily hurt the local economy, local businesses and local citizens. Spreading such allegations is an attempt to exploit a delicate situation in the Middle East.

            • Maria

Didn’t know!! Thanks for that, I don’t drink sodas to begin with, but I definitely wouldn’t want to do anything to hurt our economy here

Does Walgreens accept manufacturers coupons with other store’s logos on them?

  8. johnnyp

    • 5pink1blue

      • Maria

Yes, I saw it on Pinterest!

  9. Melody

Just worked for me!! Ty so much!! Also used my $1/3 coke coupon that I printed a while ago and expires tomorrow!

    • rachel

      It didn’t beep?

      • Melody

Nope! It says redeemable at Kroger, but not “only”. It went through without a hitch!

  10. Laura

    I just bought 4 – 16.9 6pks

    I scored 7500 bonus points!

  11. Jane

  12. jess

    • paula

LOL! Don’t start a frenzy now:) Made me laugh, thank you.

  13. Becky

No Diet Coke at my store, so I had to settle for Coke Zero…What a great deal!!!

  14. Mumm

I can’t get in till Thurs so I think the local shelve clearer will have emptied them out. So how would this deal with a RC work. I haven’t done that at Walgreens before. TIA for the info.

  15. Michelle

Becky, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Coke Zero!! I cannot stand the taste of Diet Coke any more, although I used to drink it! Hope you love it too! I will try my local Walgreens tomorrow!

  16. MDG

    FYI:
My store was out of the 6 packs. Bought 6 32 oz powerade and one 2 liter diet coke and only got 3000 points.

  17. priscilla

I just bought 4 – 6 packs (3 Coke Zero and 1 regular Coke) but only got 3,000 points. Was it only working if you purchased all of the same kind? Or maybe it’s been “fixed” now. I also used one of those $1/3 coupons so it’s still not a bad deal ($6 for 4 of them).

They have some in the aisle with the summer stuff if you don’t find them in the regular beverage section.

  18. Laura

Dead deal – but I didn’t know. So when I purchased 4 sprite 6pks. Only got 3000 points. I was going to return them when a manager came up and said she could add points. I told her I was supposed to get 6000. And for sometime on last night I got 7500. So she added points. What I didn’t know, until I got home was that she added 6000 – on top of the 3000. I scored 9000 points!!!
