Target debit card comes directly from your account and the kohls is a credit card. I finally kohls has such great deals that it’s worth it though!

No. Target has debit and credit RedCards. Kohl’s only has charge cards.
If you pay the card off by the due date at the end of each month — there are no extra fees. You only pay for what you charged.
