   My American Express recently had an offer that if I spent $100 at either Target or Walmart I would get $30 credited back to my card…..and it said I could do this up to five times! I ended up buying five $100 gift cards and got back a total of $150 from American Express. These definitely are some Awesome offers!

  I got this, too! They actually messed up and gave me a credit for a gift card I purchased at walmart.com even though it was for in store only.

  Merchant-affiliated Amex cards may need to go another route as they wouldn’t have access to the Offers section. You may need to sync your card to Facebook or Twitter and add Offers from there. Sounds like a lot of work but it’s well worth it. From Facebook you’ll then just add the Offers offered on your page. From Twitter (the easiest imo) you’ll just tweet hashtags.

  For these Colin just advertised they’re: #AmexPetco #AmexHP #AmexZappos #AmexChilis #AmexBoxed #AmexSoup #AmexGodiva #AmexCarters #AmexBestBuy. Make sure you tweet each separately and rec’d confirmation before shopping. Limited number available so you’ll want to add Offers ASAP before they’re gone and use by expiry date. Credit goes to Slickdeal’s Hot Deals. Their site is great.

  Did you first add the Offer and received confirmation before shopping? The credit would have been a statement credit, meaning you would have seen it posted to your account after 3-4 days. No gift card would be sent to you.

    I got the Chilli’s offer only, I would have preferred the PF Changs, but I’m not complaining as I usually don’t get any of these good offers. I have the AmericanExpress-Costco card. Thanks Collin and Team for alerting me to check. God bless.
