I got two nail files! Thank you! Awesome deal.

  2. Yoli

Thanks Collin. I got three nail polishes and I love nude colors, sooo happy that’s the gift. I’ve read reviews about the files not being so good, so I skipped it this time. I’ve ordered so much ELF lately thanks to the deals you post and the free shipping of course 😉

    • Cassandra

Thanks Collin. But thank you for your comment Yoli!! I didn’t even realize that more nail polish colors were available…I was wondering how you picked 3 and looked, lol.

      • Yoli

Hi Cassandra. They have some nice colors. On my phone some were showing up as just a white box, but once I added them to my cart I was able to see the color. I picked sunset, gina girl and punk purple; all beautiful colors.

  3. Niki

The last two times I placed an order I received two appreciation gifts one for me and one for a friend, definitely worth the 49 cents I paid

    • Yoli

The first order, I didn’t receive any, the second and third I did and the fourth I received two too. All the same lip gloss lol. Happy it’s a nail polish this time.

  4. Sandy

Very cool! One nail file and the free gift (nail polish) for $0.39 is a great deal! Thanks!

  5. Krista

Hi Hip2Save community! Don’t forget to go through shopathome.com. You won’t earn much in cash back but you should receive 50 ShopGold coins. Which basically means you’ll be making money if you spend $0.49 or under 🙂 As always, thanks Collin and your super duper team!

And not to mention, I check out with PayPal; with funds added from my SavingStar and Ibotta accounts 😉. So basically all free stuff. Love that a lot of places are accepting PayPal.

  7. Emily

I got a blush stick to try, thanks!

    • Jane

I absolutely love the all over stick in lilac petal!

      • Gretchen

I was looking at that, how/what do you use it for? Thx!

        • Jane

I just dab it on my cheeks and blend, I may never go back to powder blush!

  8. Lauren

Hi. This is my 1st time to purchase/use e.l.f. I bought the All Over Cover Stick in Lilac Petal and Nail Polish in Sunset. When I did my order, it showed that I got a free gift but when the order confirmation was emailed it me, none was listed. How do I know if I got a free gift and what it is? Thank you!

    • Yoli

Hi Lauren. Mines doesn’t show in my email either, but it does in my “previous orders” section at my elf account (elf’s website). As Collin stated in this post, this gift is a nude nail polish. ELF normally adds a customer appreciation gift to every order, but they vary. In the past I have gotten lipstick, lip gloss, mascara or eye liner.

  9. BOLOGNA

Not to be a debbie downer but I ordered some ELF recently & I did not like it. The lipstick felt weird too creamy like vaseline or something & the eyeshadows barely had any pigment. I’d love to try some other stuff though. Any one have recommendations on some good products form ELF?

    • mich

Elf has pretty good makeup brushes, especially eyeshadow brushes and their powder brushes. Their brow pencil was recently back in stock too after being out of stock for a while, so that one is pretty popular too.

    • Yoli

Hi Bologna. Have you tried wetting the eyeshadow before applying? Works just like a cream eyeshadow. When I come across any eyeshadow that doesn’t offer much pigmentation, I dip my brush in a little bit of water, dab on a paper towel (the brush should be damp and not soaking wet) then I go ahead and apply the eyeshadow wetting the brush as needed. Works good and looks great. I recommend the elf brushes, brow kit, eye liners, lip exfoliater, hypershine gloss, soothing lip balm and lip balm tint. I personally haven’t had any problems with not liking their eyeshadows, I have with other brands; but elf is one of my favorites.

      • Yoli

I also like their studio eyeshadow primer.

  10. Gretchen

I live the eyeliners and glitter mascara! The eyeliners that is. 39 is sold out now, but if they come available again, don’t pass them up!! Full size w/ sharpener, and wear very well!

  11. CC

You should give their makeup brushes and blush / bronzer duo a go. They’re still standbys in my makeup arsenal, particularly the eyeshadow C brush, and their flat top brush.

I’m also not a fan of their eyeshadows, but the last time I tried their eyeshadows was years ago.

    • Julie

I’m obsessed with their blush and bronzer combos. And their thick eye liner pencil. But the best thing they have is their eye shadow primer. seriously, it’s so smooth, light and unnoticeable, and it works SO well.

      • CC

I would have absolutely gone to try their eyeshadow primer, if I hadn’t just bought the one from Wet n Wild. Where were you when I was decluttering my makeup stash!? Thanks for the other recommendations!

    • CC

Whoopsy. For anyone reading this, I meant their regular $1.00 eyeshadow brush. I have both brushes, but hardly ever use the C brush. The $1.00 is slightly larger and fluffier, and great for packing on color.

  12. Julie

Oh and their lip exfoliater is good too

  13. Courtney

Thinking of buying a few things to put together a little gift for my daughters teachers this year. Any ideas on things I can include other than nail polish, file, and lip gloss?

    • Cassandra

How about a light blush or eyeshadow? I know my little sisters always love putting on makeup. If you get lighter colors, you can potentially avoid issues if they use too much. 😉

    • Kate

If you checkout as a guest, you can use the coupon code multiple times, so if you buy each item separately you will get multiple free gifts

    • Kathleen

I’m a teacher, and I appreciate when parents give gifts that they personalize for me. Neutral colors are good, but I think it’s extra sweet when they choose colors they know or think I will like. Just so you know 🙂

    • Courtney

Thanks ladies for the suggestions. Thanks for commenting Kathleen, from a teachers point of view. I was wondering if it would be a little odd to give a teacher these things or not.

  15. Nicole

i love their smudge pots for the eyes because the color lasts all day. Their $3 brushes are great too. I also heard their baked blush in pinktastic and highlighter in moonlight pearl work like the high end Becca products. I’m going to try them this time. Elf is hit or miss but for the price you can’t beat it.

  16. Angela

I love the high definition powder.

  17. Stef

    NOOOOOO The code expired 🙁

  18. Crystal

i ordered this morning went back to order some stuff for stocking stuffers and the code is no longer valid :(. Prices changed as well 🙁

  19. Yoli

The sale tab is gone too. I hope they are working on adding more items to that list 😊.

  20. Priscilla A

    The code stopped working! 🙁
