    That’s a lot of points…..

    • Cassandra

I was thinking the same thing, although I’m unfamiliar with their rewards and what a good ‘price’ is for them!

      • michelle

In the past there have been special offers available for a limited time where the 12 packs have been 30 points so I guess I’m spoiled from that. This doesn’t seem like a great deal to me.

        • Cassandra

Thank you. I’ll save my points!

    • Meredith

I agree. Around Christmas they are less than 100 points. That’s usually when I get mine.

    • spongemonkey

That’s the usual “price” charged; no discount here. Last year cost was 250 pts.

    • Kelly Szymanski

It’s actually a lot of points to give up considering for 175 points you can get $3.00 off a 12 pack and I’m from Michigan and the retail price ranges from $2.50 to $3.50 I would rather save 100 points and pay the small difference!

  2. Melissa

I’m about done with this program.
I’ve experienced so much difficulty trying to claim my minute maid movie tickets!!! I’ve called them twice & emailed once, but received nothing but the run around. All they can tell me is to keep checking my unclaimed rewards as often as possible which I’ve been doing…
Oh well. That’s my rant…. any other hip2savers having this problem?

    • Free123

Wow I’m surprise you had such a bad experience…Everytime I called they always help me. One time I got a coupon for 20oz drink( ginger ale) that I could not find in my town. I called and they gave me the points back.I would call back one more time…..if that person can’t help u ….I would ask to speak to a supervisor… HTH

    • jessica

I’ve had the exact same response in regards to the Minute Maid tickets. Still haven’t seen them under the unclaimed rewards section yet.

    • Maggie

Yes that promotion has given me troubles. I redeemed on the last day and never got the movie ticket. I wish they would apologize and AT LEAST refund the points, although i would love a movie ticket. I am guessing they got bombarded at the end and couldn’t handle it.

    • Leigh

This program is awful. They gave me trouble with the essence promotion to redeem 3 12 pack codes for one bottle with a custom name on it. 2 codes went in fine and the third didn’t work. Called in, they told me to keep trying. Called again and asked for a supervisor to call back, they never did. Tried emailing, but after two back and forth messages that just kept asking me the same questions, I gave up. Terrible customer service. I ended up not getting anything. If I didn’t hate Pepsi so much, I’d switch, so I’m just abstaining from soda all together.

      • Tracy

Yes I remember doing the glass coke bottle promotion. I had enough 2 do two. And I entered it in and it didn’t come up. And then I realized I had to enter it in I’m a whole seperate rewards thing. I was short 1 after to get 2. So I called them and they wouldn’t take away my points at all and change it to where I wanted them

    • Peever

I hate the switch as well. I don’t like the emphasis on social media. Their customer service when dealing with rewards is terrible.

      • Gina

        I agree!

    • L

Did you enter them in the Minute Maid promo page? Not on the regular page when you enter codes. Mine worked fine and I got them by email right away. I got 4 free movie tickets.

      • Melissa

I did enter them on the promo page. In fact, the first two worked fine, but the remaining three won’t let me redeem. 🙁

  3. robin

I agree Amber. Seems like ALOT of points. Especially for sparkling water. I don’t like this new program as well, although I use it just like I did the old one. Just put in my codes and redeem once in awhile for coupons for Diet Coke. Lol

    • Free123

It horrible the way it set up now.You have to tweet to unlock rewards/ levels ….I got email that say if u don’t do it in 30 days they will drop you down a level….The prize are not that great anymore it takes forever for it to add up….

      • Melissa

Yes, I HATE the program now. I hate the emphasis on tweeting. I don’t, and so there are few things I can do to gain “status”. It doesn’t matter how many points you have, you need the “status” to access the offers.

        • Gina

I agree! I don’t tweet and I don’t want to post on FB. I’m done with this program…and I should be done with soda as well (trying to give up diet coke)!!

    • shandelle

They keep reducing how many codes you can enter per week, too! It’s so irritating. I think they only let you enter 75 pts per week now. I have friends, family members and coworkers who save codes for me and they keep cutting back. On their facebook they keep giving the same automated excuses about how this is making the program better but everyone hates the changes. Plus they stopped letting you text in the codes which I HATE and their iphone does not work. I’ve never been to login on it.

      • shandelle

Their iphone APP that is.. it has never worked. They quit letting people use the windows desktop widget a few years ago, too. I’ve never seen a program go so downhill so fast. Don’t get me started on how terrible these forced social media changes are.

        • Brian

+1 on the iPhone app not working. I thought it was just me. I loved the desktop widget – I used that the most, but it went away before the MCR plus came about. 🙁

    • Susan

You don’t have to use this coupon on sparkling water – I always use it on Coke. I’m not sure why they label the coupon that way but it’s good on any Coca-Cola soda product. Hope this helps =)

  4. Meredith

Does anyone know how long the points stay in your account? I haven’t put any in with the new program but with the old one if I didn’t redeem within a three month time frame they would take all my points and I’d have a 0 balance.

    • Brenda

I think it’s 90 days without any activity

    • RfromLTown

Same here. Just lost all points a few weeks ago through inactivity for 90 days.

  5. Deann

These were 25 points each last Christmas

  6. Brooke

I quit this stupid program when they deleted my account and all my points due to inactivity.

    • Kristen

I had this happen also. In the past they have sent out warning emails, but I never received one this last time. I emailed customer service through the contact us link on the website and they credited all of my points back.

    • Mella

Me too. Frustrating that they delete points. I mean what’s the reason?

  7. shari

Better in my opinion, to spend points on the 3.00 /1 coupon. That’s how much the pop is in my area anyway…….

  8. Andrew

These used to be 125 or 130 points. Ever since they added the social aspect to the rewards program, the program has gone downhill.

  9. Rosana

if anyone not using their coke products codes i will gladly take it, email it to ro99jo at yahoo dot com TIA

  10. Mayra

I started using this program last year and was thrilled with all the great stuff I got during the holidays! Gift cards, coupons for free soda for 30 pts! I’m so grateful for this program and of course Collin for letting us know about the great deals!

  11. debi

I like the Christmas time benefits. If that goes away so will I…and as others said being forced to do the social media thing to keep status is a bummer.i much prefer the older program…less hoops..I was just thinking a couple days ago about how if I dont do tasks soon they will penalize me..Annoying..

  12. Cindy

At this point, it’s a chore to enter the 75 pts every week, but my main issue is the 1/week limit on the free 20-oz coke coupon. I can’t get one every Tuesday, for ex, I have to actually wait 8 days from previous order. PITA!

    • Tammy

If you have a vending machine in your area with the touch pad, consider ordering one of the My Coke Rewards card things i think they cost 30ponits at least thats what i paid about a year ago, but you get this card and you swipe it at the machine and there is no limit as long as you have the points it works plus each 20oz is only 30 points!

  13. Brian

MCR used to be the best of the points programs, but no longer. When it debuted in 2005, I got a Sony Playstation, a mountain bike, and a KitchenAid handheld mixer. Can’t do that now!

The Social Media emphasis stinks. To spend that much time pushing Coke products, no thank you.

  14. Jessica

It has been a big change adjusting to the new MCR….. but I feel like consumers are getting a sense of entitlement when it is actually an incentive program and not included in the Bull of Rights…..what other brand loyalty program offers anything close……????….and it is exactly what it claims to be….a “reward”…..the interpretation of the word doesn’t change the intent.

That being said…..if you want to make the best use of your MCR points when spending for more soda…..it usually makes it a better deal to snag the $3.00 off coupon for a 12pk instead of the Free 12pk coupon…..there are usually deals all over with 4/$12 and I’ve found CVS is my favorite to buy my Diet Coke because they will run the deals with $5 ECB with a $15 purchase………
I have also had the chance to use them when Family Dollar had 12pks for $2.50!!!!! The full value of the coupon still counts 😁

  15. Jessica

I also want to mention that by putting some time in on this program I am not sacrificing much more than a bit of TV time…..and I can easily get pretty much all of my holiday gifting covered between the discounted gift cards and promotions……..I didn’t feel putout by getting a Twitter account just to show my support of the brand or to keep up the incentive level…….because I would drink my DC regardless and while this is a huge corporation that doesn’t seem to be hurting……they do need to keep up with the changing times…..they need a revamp for an increase in participation from the younger demographic…….and that is okay for all of us who have been there for so long…..because now there’s a better chance that some form of the MCR program will continue on!!!!!

  16. Brian

My Coke Rewards is temporarily unavailable as we build a better experience.

    COULD IT BE…….???

  17. Evan

If anyone is done using these rewards, I would appreciate codes being forwarded to my email:

    mastaraider@yahoo.com

Even if you only have a code or two, I will save it and reply back with a Shutterfly code or anything similar I happen to get. Thanks!
