Black Friday is sooo overrated. I ignore all those “deals” and wait for the real sales as the holidays get closer. “Black Friday” is 99% for those who don’t know prices….
Maybe some black Friday sales are “overrated” but it has been a fact that for years you could get TONS of freebies at Walgreens on Black Friday. Usually well over a dozen items easy. No way do you see that many freebies closer to Christmas. If we are lucky there might be 1 or 2 freebies in December, but nothing remotely close to what Walgreens usually does for Black Friday.
My mom and I love black Friday. It’s not a day for people to get scammed. People need to be smart shoppers and know what they are going for and have a look at prices BEFORE black Friday that way they know if it’s a Great deal or a normal deal. 🙂
No its also for people with small kids who can shop while their kids and hubby sleep…and I hit up kohls with my $10 off $10… Other deals are as a bonus;)
Also… I’m sure these ad scans aren’t “leaked”.. they are planned to sound like a “leak” just to get people thinking they are in on the deal before others….

Actually, MikeB is correct. Scans are said to be “leaked” so shoppers get excited about getting in on deals early. The 3 stores I’ve worked at all did that before Black Friday and Christmas sales. His comment was a factual statement, not a complaint about this (or any other) website.

I have to agree! This is the worst ad ever! But it may be in relation to Walgreens buying RA. Maybe they have less of a budget for freebies. 🙁
I’m just hoping that they are going to be like CVS this year and do the better deals the Sunday before. This ad is super disappointing.
