Omg! Dr. Pepper 😍😍😍 Trying to stay in line with my New Year goals here😔…wonder if this works on the diet Dr. P’ s??

      It should. 🙂

It’s been my experience that if you don’t purchase in the multiples they are on sale for, you would pay the higher, single, price. So, the third Pringles can would be $1.79 because it wasn’t purchased in multiples of two. Same for the Dr. Pepper. 4 for $5.00 but the extra two bottles in deal #1 would be at the higher, single, price. Just thinking the totals might be a little off.
To be perfectly honest, I haven’t shopped at Walgreen’s a lot lately, but this is how I remember it. Am I wrong? Would the third Pringles can and bottles 5 & 6 cost the higher single price?

As far as i know after u meet the number of items to get the sale price the next item/items will be the same sale price. Like in this deal Dr. Pepper 4/$5 the fifth item will ring up $1.25 same on the pringles 2/$3 the third item will ring up $1.50 hth

Thanks. I will have to check when I’m there next time. I don’t think this was how it worked when I was there last. But I could be mistaken.

    • MK

This is exactly right. Walgreens prices always are on multiples unlike other stores. Last time I even asked cashier to ring up and see how it would work and it worked exactly like the deal is advertised on multiples.

      • Brenda

So, the odd extra items (not in sale price multiples) are at the higher price, right? This is how it always was for me.

        • Bethany

After you satisfy the initial requirements of the 2/$3 deal, every item following should ring up at the sale price. In other words, after you buy 2 cans of Pringles for 2/$3, the third will ring up at $1.50. You are required to purchase at least 2 for the deal price. (I am a Walgreens store manager)

          • Judy Trac

Why does Walgreens hate coupon users

  4. Debi

Dr. Pepper and Pringles are both $0.99 right now at Kroger as part of the “Mega pick 6” sale. (Depending on your area’s Dr. Pepper distributor, but in many regions Dr. P is part of the sale)

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Sweet! Thanks for sharing Debi!

  5. Kathy

I haven’t shopped at Walgreens in several years. The stores in my are got very coupon unfriendly. Do the Balanve Rewards take the dollar amount off during the initial transaction or a subsequent one?

  6. Judy Trac

What if I only want the Pringles ??? Any scenario

  7. Debbie

As mentioned above I went to walgreens and did ideal #1 and the sale price is by multiples only for the pringles. With the Dr Pepper the first 4 are 4/$5 but the remaining two are $1.25 each which is a final cost of $7.50 and the first two pringles are 2/$3 but the remaining one is $1.79 which is a final cost of $4.79. Equals out to $7.79 minus the 3 $1.50 off coupons.

Hello, The $2 Rewards was not on Dr. Pepper. Well, not in my area – MD. It was on A&W, which was in the weekly ad. I did try the purchase on the 4 Dr. Pepper and 2 Pringles, anyway. No rewards. It would of been a good deal.
