I LOVE Fiestaware! If I didn’t already have 20 place settings, I’d snag this up! This is such great stuff. It lasts and does not break easily (trust me- I am hard on things!)
Hannah I have two young toddler girls but do not like them using plastic. They have broken the majority of our ikea set. Do you think this would be durable enough for the wear and tear of young children (my youngest likes to drop her plates/bowls when she’s finished)?
I recommend corelle. Lasts forever and through 4 kids. My set is almost 22 years old. I only recall losing one piece to breakage.
It really is quite durable. No chipping on them at all. Unless your kids are seriously throwing them, they should hold up to normal use. I love them, too!
The Fiestaware is very heavy. I wouldn’t recommend it for kids that young. I would also recommend Corelle too. Very light weight but incredibly durable. My 4-year old has dropped them many times and we haven’t broken one yet. They will break if you drop it and it hits just right but we have been lucky the couple times that she dropped them and they did not break. Couldn’t believe it!
Yes Kay! My 18-month old uses it! We have to watch her to not toss it from the high chair but so far we have one set of dishes for the whole family!

If you love Fiesta dishes and you live anywhere near Newell, WV……you have to go to the plant where the dishes are made. They have annual tent sales that are indoor and outdoors. Seconds are sold for extremely low prices. The large disc pitchers are only $4.75. The flaws are very small and you can find most flaws on the bottoms. Every purchase is packed for your travel home. They have a first quality showroom with examples of all the new pieces and colors. We travel 2 hours to get to the sale!!!! Great day with the daughters and my friends!
All of my pieces are “seconds” from there. Such good deals!
