I doubt I will ever order from Shutterfly again. I had a big order and everything was terrible. I contacted them and they said they would fix it ….. but they just repeated the exact order. And the shipping is way to high. It’s easier and cheaper to just go to a local print store.

How much is shipping ? Their shipping costs are high.
The shipping is like $10? In that range. But you can order more than one and the shipping doesn’t really increase. So when I get a long term code like this I wait for the free weekend item to be the same thing, then order 2. That way I only pay the shipping once!
The shipping is by item so it does increase up to $39 worth of product. So, if you had 5 free shopping bag codes – which would mean codes from separate sources and/or dollar off codes -the shipping would be $40. No getting around that unless you add enough products that aren’t free to activate the free shipping code, which is usually at $39. They send out free shipping codes, but less often like around holidays.
With my order the shipping ended up being $8.53.

Excellent quality. I ordered one for my mother’s birthday last month with old vintage pictures and the quality of the pictures came out lovely. She has received so many compliments. We filled it with a large plant and assorted boxes of chocolates, then attached a balloon. My mother uses this for her groceries, carrying odd items in and out of the house/car, attached to her walker to carry items from one room to the other in the house. The material of the bag is very thick.
Just made one last night for my mother in law’s birthday and plan to make one for myself.

I don’t think I would put heavy groceries in them, but we carry my daughters toys back and forth (on vacation, car rides, to someone’s house) and they have held up well!
I’m not sure about a heavy load. But I think they hold up far better than the plastic sacks at Walmart and other stores. I use to ask for plastic sacks when I went shopping. Then I used them for trash can liners, cat litter, etc. The sacks they use now are so thin, I seem to toss them all anyway because they rip so easily. So I’m making the transition to bringing my own bags. Guess I’ll have to start buying actual trash bags. LOL
I’ve used mine for watermelon and potatoes before. They are very highly quality and more durable than they look.

hi Kristie–i tried just that and the shipping was double—essentially what it would have been if ordered separately! 🙁 i still did it because i really love the products and they make such great gifts. i feel like the prices on the products and the shipping are both high, but just paying shipping is still a deal!
